I am 21 years old- grew up in a major metropolitan city in California for most of my life before moving with my parents to this small town a few years ago. I am nearly done with my first college degree (just a few more months!), work in a bank, do modelling on the side, etc. I am also aspiring to become something I always want to be: a lawyer. I have a very loving family and am very close to my aunts, uncles, and cousins. However, because I live in a rather homogenized small town, there is a certain type of culture aquainted with it. I have met many older adults who look down on me because (a) I am NOT married and (b) I don't have any children. And some people my age, who are already married with several children (no joke), view me the same way, unless I am just hallucinating. I feel like I have to prove, just because I haven't found a man who honestly loves me or because I am not a mother now doesn't make me less of a woman. Anyone else feel this way?!

im not working right now becuz of medical reasons and i have a friend that is treating me as if im a nothing cuz i dont have a job and she does. she was jealous of me for a while cuz i was doing fine and she didnt have a job. but now she is practically forceing it in my face. what would you do? shes treating me like im doing nothing with my life cuz im not working.

so this girl tells me that someone has a crush on me and i ask her who it is and she says that she isnt gonna tell me who my crush is. i tell her that she wouldnt have said anything unless she wanted to tell me who it was and she replies w/ idk who it is and that she doesnt know how she knew that someone had a crush on me. now this is by far one the most confusing things girls do. people have said that the person who has a crush on me is this girl but if it is her then why is she openly "talking" with this friend of mine? is she lying to me or what?

My wife told me 2 weeks ago she wants a divorce, that she doesn't love me any more. She has been to a lawyer and started the paperwork for the divorce. Through all of this we are still talking - we want to make this civil because we have 2 children. She has also told me, although with a lot of prodding and digging in phone records from me, that she is talking to another man. She says that she really connects with him and I can see her really light up when she is talking about him. She has made it very clear that we are not going to be getting back together. So is it bad that we have had sex 3 of the last 4 nights? And we have discussed keeping that part of our relationship open, at least until either one of us gets serious with someone else. Let me state again there is no chance of us getting back together.

I have 3 kids and tons of experience balancing a family. my new husband works 4:30 am to 1: pm with weekdays off and I work Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. I contribute 100% of my earnings( as well as my child support), he coughs up 50% We both alternate to care for our 1 year old son and 2 days a week I pay for a babysitter. He will relieve the sitter in the afternoon and wait for me to come home and take over. Even though he's home all afternoon, I have to pick up my other kids, as well as get dinner ready. On occasion he will make himself dinner, but never for all of us. It is his oppinion that I should keep the baby entertained while he eats so he can enjoy his meal. My question is...Is there something wrong with letting the child play around the house while I do chores? He is always at my feet, but Daddy thinks he's being neglected. How do I convince him that his expectations are unrealistic? Did I marry Fred Flinstone?

lets say a guy has a nice looking face to begin with with pretty eyes. than he goes and puts a few blonde hi lights in his brown hair thats wavy and kind of long. than he pierces his ears and gels his hair. Plus the guy works out at the gym and is 6'1 and 210 lbs and tans. why does this type of guy tend to have girls stare at him but a lot of guys talk behind his back calling him pretty and gay etc.

So this girl and I met many years ago and then completely lost contact with each other, through the years there have been a couple times that I thought about her and just figured that I was longing for things that were lost to time. Then a few weeks ago I saw her at a bar and went over and talked to her, she remembered me and I obviously remembered her, since then we have been talking and hooked up a couple of times. When I am with her I am incrediblyhappy and when I don't talk to her I miss her, apparently she feels the same way, and when we go for a day that we don't talk she texts me that she misses me. Then last night I had a dream that was My life in a few years and in the dream the two of us were married and happy and everything just seemed to good to be true. I am really thinking about asking her out but I don't know if I should because we are both coming outta pretty bad relationships and I am hoping for some feedback and some advice as to what I should do.

There was a guy who was everything I wanted in a man and he treated me like the most important person in his world (besides his mother). I truly cared for him but had just gotten out of relationship with someone who, unbeknownst to me, had been cheating the entire time. So, I wasn't ready for another relationship. I'm 21 yr old virgin who's saving sex for marriage. BUT guys get surprised when I tell them I am a virgin and that I wanna wait. I have a friend, REALLY! She has a guy she's been with for 2 years on and off and she has a child. They have been living together on and off during this time. She always leaves him because he is not exactly her type, although she says she loves him because they have bee together so long. He is not abusive but controlling. They have had probs lately and have both explored other options. Today she told me all about this and asked me if they could make it work, although she till ahs feelings/ thinks about other guys and they are just not as financially stable as him. Also she does not know if her BF loves her more than anyone ever could or is just obsessed with her. He never leaves even if she tells him too he asks why she is being mean. I have been listening to Shreya Ghoshal's voice for a long time...gradually I started feeling that I am in love with her....
