I had a really crapy valentine. Anybody else? anyone something to chear me up?

This is a sociological question. Men of years past treated women like ****. They didnt talk or listen. Our generation 20-40 were taught by our bitter Moms on what NOT to do in relationships. At the same time our rents were telling girls to watch out and that it was there world too and not get oppressed. So now it bites us in the ***. Girls dick us over and refuse to be faithful and committed. AND they hate when we talk, share or speak our mind. "Just sit there and look pretty buttercup". And we do. Dont wanna be like Dad. The world is just cyclical and being a man now is like being a woman was 50 years ago. Except they still want us to pay bills.

this guy and i hav been friends for some time now. we hav a good thing between us being FRIENDS ONLY but lately he's been so strange in his ways. he has been saying he's my bf and then we laugh about that (i was thinking he's just trying to make me laugh?) and that he loves me (ofcourse i interpreted it as love coming from a friend:) especially since he's leaving the country soon. but things are just getting so complicated i'm not sure what to think. it's valentine's day and he's been so nice (too nice:) then later in the day, he says he has a problem but he doesnt want to talk about it. we were chatting like usual until his mood changed for some reason i dont know what he's thinking and he doesnt want to talk about it. it's kinda frustrating i dont know what's up with my friend.

I don`t understand what`s going on with me just now,i`ve been doing fine these pastfew weeks since my ex walked out for the 2nd time on me and our son.

But now i feel as though everything is hitting me again,i just sat and read the emails from the last split and broke my heart as looking back i can see that he was always going to come back with the things he wrote but it`s just so different this time he truly has moved on and isn`t coming home.Why has it taken so long for it to hit me,i feel so down now and can`t stop crying luckily my son is fast asleep in bed,i don`t think i can handle feeling like this again and i have nobody to talk to as it`s after 2:30 in the morning.

I want to sleep but i can`t,i can`t stop thinking about things and it`s hurting me like mad,do you think it`s just because it was valentines day and it will pass?Advice appreciated.thanx.

Does anyone else hate "dating". I mean I love dating a girl I am in love with, or like, and stuff like that. I mean like blind dates, trying to get a good first impression, thinking if she likes me, etc etc.

I like the idea of having a GF and all that, but the only way there is to go through the whole immediate dating game. Are there any ways around that? I don't feel like I should have to impress a girl. I just want to be myself!

I'm a sophomore and he's a senior. There are certain parts of the day that I always see him, like passing him through the hall right after history, and french. A major time is after school, he's almost always at his locker and I always have to pass there to get to the library, and he's always holding eye contact with me when his buddies aren't around, and he smiled, once. But I haven't the nerve to respond in any way, what if it wasn't me he was smiling at? As you know I go to the library after school, and he comes in every Monday and Tuesday, and we sit,alone, at different tables right across from eachother, and he likes to randomly start singing, I find this incredibly cute, and he's supremely studly. Do you think he's trying to get my attention, or am I just a victim of great hallucinations? What should I do?

No judgement, just advice, please. I have been married for almost 3 years. Not even 5 months into the marriage I had sex with a "friend". My hubby doesn't know, but knows that around that time I was very close to leaving because I had started evaluating why I really got married. Not long after that I got pregnant (by hubby) so decided to shut up and try to make things work for the baby. Had the baby, he's a great dad and a wonderful person. A few months ago I met a guy at work and we have become very close, he probably knows more about me than my husband. He is also married and has a small child. I talk to hubby, he doesn't listen or is so comfy where he is he doesn't really try even after I try talking about our relationship. An example, work guy said happy valentine's day to me today, hubby didn't. Work guy and I have been together once in person, many times on net. we want to do things sexually our partners refuse to do. neither wants to ruin the other's relationship. help?

Today was Valentine's Day and during class (when we weren't doing anything), the girl I liked was talking to everybody (all of my friends), but not me. (She knows I like her.) Normally, she'd at least pass by and smile and say hi, but today she did none of that. What does this mean? Also, after class, I gave her a card and a poem I wrote to her, so tomorrow, how should I act in order to make things as little awkward as possible?

Ok.. this is my first big choicein while, so here I go. It's about to be my first time in my life to eve go out with a girl.. Okay so a couple weeks ago, my bf and i SORTOF went to second base for the first time. we were making out and he took off my shirt, but my bra was still on. so we've kept up with doing that, but he only puts his hands over my bra and not under. i'm ready for him to take off my bra and like actually touch my boobs, which i'm pretty sure he would want to do. however, he hasn't done it yet and i really don't want to just take off my bra myself cause i don't want to catch him off guard and it would be so much sexier if he did it. so how can i hint at him to do that or how can this somehow happen? we're both definitely ready

I have been dumped thrice by the same guy in my past relationship. It was like everything was already set that we will be together forever but he just bailed out. So many broken promises. He's kept winning me back and dumping me again. It's been 2 years. Im having troubles trusting again... i feel insecure and extremely bad about myself with little negative things that people say.. and i easily give up on things now.. im changed.. ive been stronger.. but i also don't hold on too long on any relationships anymore even just with my friends.. i try not to make relationships too deep.. but i feel so alone.. some guys come.. but i hide or run.. do i just expect too much from people that i get hurt? anybody out there who understands?

I've been good friends with this guy Jordan for about 3 years and we've been through a lot together.He stuck with me when I had no one and is someone who I can always count on.A year ago he moved overseas for 9 months because of a job and came back about 2 months ago.After he left I met this amazing guy who I've fallen head over heels for (I'm a girl).Since Jordan came back I've found out that my boyfriend and him not only know each other but that Jordan has done some really low and hurtful things to my boyfriend that had a big impact on his life.This was about 5 years ago but my boyfriend hasn't gotten past it.I hate feelings like I'm in the middle.I can't be mad at Jordan for something he did 5 years ago while at the same time I can't ignore what he's done to my boyfriend of 6 months.What do I do?

Well , I HAD a best friend named , well let's just say friend.. About a month ago , she and I got in this fight (which was nothing new , we always got in fights) and she hasn't talked to me since. She said I am an annoying brat.. But now she can't even be in the same ROOM as me. She's not the person you can just talk to and things will just work out , she holds really long grudges and I have a bad feeling this one just won't go away. But in a few days my other best friend is having a birthday party , and we're both going. It's going to be completely awkward and I honestly don't know what to do. I miss her so much , but just don't know if there's even anything left TO do. Any suggestions ?

My friend always seems flirty, but i'm not sure if it's just being flirty or friendly in her own way, I'll let you decide. Well everytime we stand in a little group and talk, she's always looking at me even though i'm not talking, and she'll be facing me the whole time and sometimes staring me down. Sometimes she'll get very close to me to where her hair touches my arm. If i don't do something that satisfies her, she'll make a little pouty face, then laugh about it. One time i layed my head down on her side of the table just to annoy her, but she lay her head down on top of my back. Why does she act like this?
