Well , I HAD a best friend named , well let's just say friend.. About a month ago , she and I got in this fight (which was nothing new , we always got in fights) and she hasn't talked to me since. She said I am an annoying brat.. But now she can't even be in the same ROOM as me. She's not the person you can just talk to and things will just work out , she holds really long grudges and I have a bad feeling this one just won't go away. But in a few days my other best friend is having a birthday party , and we're both going. It's going to be completely awkward and I honestly don't know what to do. I miss her so much , but just don't know if there's even anything left TO do. Any suggestions ?

sometimes people are only in your life for a certain amount of time. Just go to the party and have fun. It just may be time for you to move on.

Well let her hold her grudge, because if she was really your friend, then she would forgive you, that's what friends do, they fight and make up.Maybe she's not the friend you think she was, and you should move on, at the party let her come to you if she wants to make up, but don't feel uncomfortable when she's around, after all your the one that wants to make up.Enjoy yourself and don't worry about it. She will come around and when she does, you might have a new friend and it will be her loss. Hope this helps

Go to the party and be pleasant and polite. Don't avoid your angry friend, but don't seek her out if she avoids you, except maybe to say hello and goodbye. Try not to have any heavy conversations at the party, in case they get too heavy. After the party, if you think appropriate, you can call and say how nice it was to see her and how much you miss her.
But if she really doesn't want to talk to you, just be polite. Show that you respect her decision.

I've had friends like that before, too, and usually they come around on their own eventually, but I have grown apart from most of them because they're just hard to deal with. So, whether you two make up or not is sort of up to her at this point, but if she doens't get over it, don't sweat it, because she doesn't sound like the sort of friend you want to remain really close to if being friends with her is so hard.
But don't avoid your other friends as well so that you won't have to see her. Go to the party and play it by ear. If she doesn't want to be around you, hang out with other people and have fun on your own, and if you do have to speak to her, be polite. But who knows, she might be ready to make up.

Since she is the one that wants to avoid you, let her. She will get over it over time, and when she wants to talk to you she will. She may be having other problems, like at home that just make her mad about everything. Just let her cool off and then she might feel bad about it.

Just attend the party and avoid her. She will come around when she is good and ready. IF she doesn't, then she really wasn't a good friend to you after all. Don't lose sleep over this.
