Does anyone else hate "dating". I mean I love dating a girl I am in love with, or like, and stuff like that. I mean like blind dates, trying to get a good first impression, thinking if she likes me, etc etc.
I like the idea of having a GF and all that, but the only way there is to go through the whole immediate dating game. Are there any ways around that? I don't feel like I should have to impress a girl. I just want to be myself!

yea I know what you mean....I think "dating" is so overrated & nowadays they make it seem like if you can't get past the first few dates then your not going to get anywhere else..
ahhhh I don't follow rules & you shouldn't either
be yourself as you say & if the girl doesn't like it....well then remember it's not you it's her !!

The only way i know around the dating game is to start out as friends and get to know each other that way but that doesnt always work because then you have to figure out if they have feelings as more than friends or not...
either way getting something as good as a solid relationship is going to take work....
but you dont need to feel like you have to impress girls all the time... i like guys more when they are able to just be themselves.

That sound fine as long as you do no harm to another. I actaully like the idea of being youself but as you know not everyone is going to be impressed, be prepared for THAT before the right one comes along. Goodluck.

ya man i know what you mean i hate having to try and be a different person to impress a girl i like. Its better just to be your self though and wait for the girl that likes you for who you are rather then trying to be someone else just cause you like them.

When you like someone a lot, you will be willing to go through the whole dating process to get to know them. Right now, you're just too lazy because there's no motivation yet. Don't worry: just chill, and go with the flow. Don't stress about it too much.

You should always be yourself and if that doesn't impress them, then they are not worth your time of day. If you are just looking for a one-night-stand kinda relationship, then you should just be honest with that person and tell them this is how it is.
