I used to feel like I was a very good judge of character and upon meeting a girl and going out a few times I thought I was able to determine if I was in love and that this person and I would have a good relationship. I have been in a few relationships that have caused me long spells of pure agony. Now I try to be more reluctant to let someone know how much I feel for them because it seems that once they know that they sort of use that to their advantage. Does any one else relate to me on this or have I just been in some bad relationships?

Serious there are alot of poeple on here who think white men are UGLY. is it true are white men generally less attractive then spanish of japanese men. All poeple have good looking specimens and UGLY specimens but are there more UGLY's among white men? Do we have small equipment and am i really a genicidal maniac who is only kept in check by constant yahoo answer belittlement. SHould we have a holiday in america where all white men get kicked in the nuts by minorities?

My wife and I have been married for 7 years. 2 boys 4yrs & 2 Yrs old. She is a stay home mom. I'm self employed and work full time. I help around the house hoping this will get her to want sex more. Clean,cook, bath the kids, Bring the kids to school so she can sleep in. ect. She still never wants to have sex. We average about 1-2 month with no emotion. Doing it to keep me quiet about it. My sex drive is much higher then hers. I talked to her about this and she promises to change but never does. I've told her i would like her to try for 1 week. The problem is that she never shows an effort to care for my needs. She says she loves me and I lover her but my needs are not being met. Sex is important to me and she knows it. We have tried counsling but she refused to go back when the subject of having sex was brought up. I'm thinking of asking for a divorce but It hurts. Maybe an affair to satify my needs? I dont want to hurt her but i feel she hates me? What to do?

I'm going through a divorce. My wife and I have 2 children, 6 and 2 years old. My wife and I plan to keep living in the same city after the divorce. My wife wants the children to live with her, and for them to stay with me every other weekend and one evening per week. I want shared custody, ie for the children to live one week with my wife and then one week with me. I believe that this would be better for the children, as they would have full relationships with both parents. My wife is completely against shared custody, as she thinks it will be too disruptive and hard for the children to have to go back and forth between two residences.

Can you give me your viewpoint on whether joint custody (one week with mom, one week with dad) is best for the children, and why?

Guy I'm casually dating (due to a joint decision coz of geography and wanting to take it slow) is O/S for work.

I sent him a txt saying that I'd was having a sucky Valentine's day. IE: No cards, no chocolate, no card, no 2 min email to say hello.

The essence of his response was he was "glad I was having a sucky day" which left me in tears. I never want anyone to have a bad day. But then on the end he put a smile and Happy Valentine.

Guys... What the HELL is he thinking?

A little while back, I was interested in this girl, unfornately though I pushed to hard and she cancel the little date because she had an appointment.

She saw me as pushy at one point and lost interest in me. So at this point I was like whatever. She hardly called me I was the one that had to call her. She kept telling me she only liked me as a friend.

Than I checked out this site called Love Tactics and one of those articles fit my description perfectly.

One time, I called her up, she was with her friends somewhere and seemed kinda busy, she said she had to go but this time I Just said " Ok thats fine, see ya" Usually I was like " Man, I don't want you to go, I wanna talk to you more" lol yea a bit clingy, but this time it was different.

So yea, unexpectedly, she called me, I talked to her for a little bit than said I had to go and said bye. She emailed me later saying she felt bad for not meeting me and offered me to go to her house while her parents went away for a week. I said that I'd have to check my schedule. I kept my emails pretty short though to show that Im not really that interested.

Ok, so now, she keeps calling, probably 3 times a day now, always wanting to talk im always playing aloof, keeping the phone calls short or me ending them.

And just today, she called me at 12am even though I told her to call me tomorrow.

So yea, why did this aloofness work so well?? even though she wasn't even that interested? Why is she calling me like crazy now?? lol

there is this girl in my class that i am friends with and i really like her. whenever we talk to each other, we always end up getting lost in each others eyes. its like when i look into her eyes we end up staring at each other with this look on both of our faces. is there the slightest chance she might like me? she is helping me DJ my schools valentines dance, should i ask her for a slow song?

I mean, like, you love(or think) a person so much, you'd go all the way to die for him/her, but you'd like to keep him/her in a box...
To protect him/her, and to make sure he/she doesn't love anyone else more than you.

i posted a question yesterday feeling so guilty that i had helped a friend of mine place a phone call to the wife of the man she was seeing. some people on this board had alot of bad things to say about what i did. needless to say i couldn't sleep because i helped to break up a family and because of my phone call this wife took the husband's kids away. all kinds of bad things started to happen. well i went by the house of the husband knowing the wife had moved out i needed to confess to him what i had helped to do. well when i drove up i saw my friend's car parked outside. i went to ring the door bell and something caught my eyes in the window it was the married man and my friend having sex in the sofa. i rang the bell anyway but of course got no reply. here i am feeling bad i destroyed a marriage and there they were enjoying themselves. my friend later had the husband called me and he said thanks for calling his wife. i was appalled. should i stop feeling guilty? why marry anymore?

met a boy on the internet about a year and a half ago. We met on an internet chatroom. I used to talk bout that game with him and i liked it, but just LIKED, but since were just talking about everything except that game im feeling very happy when im tlking to him, or really sad when im not. All i can think about is him, its like im doing my homework to pass my exams, to get a job so i can go and pay a trip to NZ(i live in Australia). I know your comments will be like that guy is probably a fat 40 year old geek, but hes not, I have seen him on webcam and stuff before, so thats no problem. The problem is just that i dunno if i shoud carry on with this, or should quit it since im just 16 (hes too) n hard to not think about this internet guy when a boy in real life tells me he likes me.
What is this sad/happy feeling though? love? is that even possible on the internets? ive told him i got feeling fo him, he ses he has them for me too. hmm....what should i do?

My Fiancee and i have been together 10 years now. We have 3 kids together, now all of a sudden he has started to pick fight with me for no reson what so ever. We live in a small island miles away from any family. It all started when his brother moved in with us 6 months ago, his brother moved in with us to start a new job. Then about a month ago he (my brother in law) went mad we had to section him under the mental health act, but now he has moved back home with his parents ( he has also been sectioned again) My fiancee thinks it is my faut as i kicked him out our house for unresonable behavor. We have sorted through that part of it he now knows he was just ooking for some one to blame for his brothers mental health problems. But now he keeps on snapping, moaning, ands picking fights with me. He woulnt even talk to me any more i just get blunt awnsers when i talk to him. Please please can some one help me with this as i ove him so much.

I was with this girl for a month. She said she wanted to take things slow, so I was super cool and confident but erotic at the same time. All this up until she started saying how she loved the sound of my voice, the way I touched her and stuff like that. I felt I was in a safe place to love.Then I slowly let my defences slide and started showing affection, telling her over the phone that I miss her and finally admitting in bed, after 20 days or so, that I was in love with her. 5 days later she said "I guess I see you as a friend" ????. I know that girl was melting in my hands when we were together. What on earth went wrong? Her best friend said afterwards that she got scared and had second thoughts about ending it. Now it hurts like hell and I just don't want to repeat the same mistakes. Is it wrong to express such strong feelings so soon? Does it scare people ? Is love forbidden before a certain point?

Hello, My friend and mum were recently knocked of a motorbike back an emergency rescue car!!
My friend got some minor injuries, like cut feet and cant walk very well until they heal, but her mum (who was driving the bike) broke her shoulder, arm, and leg!!
I have a get well card, and generally want to say im sorry bout it and to get well soon, and that me and my family are all thinking of you all at this time
