Not THAT kinda soppy love...
I mean, like, you love(or think) a person so much, you'd go all the way to die for him/her, but you'd like to keep him/her in a box...
To protect him/her, and to make sure he/she doesn't love anyone else more than you.

I hope you're being metaphorical, you know like a box of protective, comforting warmth, only for her. You know, the chivalrous, yet compassionate male?

If not, then you need help.
You have skeletons in the closet, and I don't mean that metaphorically.

no, that is not love that is obsession and controlling if you don't want them to love any one else more then you. if you really did care for some one you would embrase the ones she loves just as she does. i am speaking from experiance my ex of 5 yrs has a family with the women he cheated with and i embrase the women and child just as i do him. no anger or tention between us because of the love i had for him i can give it to how he loves too.

Love, makes someone grow, setting someone free. .ang giving someone choices. . .its giving up of everything, for something which may or may not be . ..
