Guy I'm casually dating (due to a joint decision coz of geography and wanting to take it slow) is O/S for work.
I sent him a txt saying that I'd was having a sucky Valentine's day. IE: No cards, no chocolate, no card, no 2 min email to say hello.
The essence of his response was he was "glad I was having a sucky day" which left me in tears. I never want anyone to have a bad day. But then on the end he put a smile and Happy Valentine.
Guys... What the HELL is he thinking?

He's thinking that he's glad you're not having a great v/day without him. He expressed it rather poorly however.

Perhaps he was just having a bad day and wanted you to share in that with him. The fact that he left a smile and Happy Valentine means he cares about your feelings. Maybe he meant that he's glad you haven't received a Valentines gift from another man?
Look, if there's one thing I've learnt after 10 years of marriage, it's don't analyse men, because trust me....what you see is what you get! They're not like us, they don't have ulterior motives or say the opposite of what they mean. Men are simple, but sweet. (Well, most, anyway) Be happy that he at least wished you a Happy Valentine's Day and don't expect too much from him. He is, after all, a man.

Look the first thing you need to do is to take a basic english class and quit talking all this crap. This guy is playing games with you, like females do with guys. He is playing you like a trumpet. When he gets through with you and he gets what he wants from you, you will never see him again. Leave this guy alone, because if you play his silly little games you are going to be the only one to get really hurt. Just move on and forget about this guy. Really he is a loser.

He is telling you he doesn't give a sh*t about you. No guy who casrfed would say anything so unfeeling and insenstive. I'm sorry but my advice is to run as fast as you can from him, it can only get worse.
