Don't worry about it. At least he thought of getting you something.

Well Lolly this is the first sign that he really does not care about you. Think about it. All he wants from you is a good time and then he will move on. Noone who cares about someone ask someone else to get a Valentines card for them. Their is no time, thought or care for someone else to buy you a card. This is the biggest red flag you will see. Dump this guy and do not even make his dreams of a good time come true. You will be glad you moved on, because it sounds like you really deserve better than this.

It is better to get someone else to buy the card than sending the card to someone else!!

Maybe he is embarrassed buying V.cards. Boys don't feel easy with this kind of thing. So, don't count it.

As for the timing, It would be better to have the card in the morning, yet, do not count this too! It seems your boyfriend doesn't feel comfortable with all this fuss on V.day.

Does he love you? Is he nice with you? THIS is what you must take into consideration.

Have fun this day. (and all the rest too!)

some people think they can bring their career into their personal relationship. Some women tolerate (overlook) this action because the guy is good to them in other ways. Remember that if the guy does this now he will do it the rest of his life. I personally knew of a case like that. People don't change. If all you get is a card (and someone else has bought it) then you know that all your holidays will be spent with your own family and with your girlfriends. If you are the kind who enjoys your family and going out with the girls, then you're fine. Some guys are just like that. Later on in life you'd have to be friends with his secretary as it will be her who will be buying your anniversary gifts.

sounds like your boyfriend is a thoughtful guy (ha next joke ) ok so you'll get a valentines card but it doesnt really count getting one his sister has picked i'm sure you would rather have one he'd put the time and effort into picking for you ! me personally i'd rather have a tatty bit of paper he'd wrote some thoughtful maening ful words on rather than a card some one else chose

Well he's trying at least-and if his sister is picking one because he wants it to be nice then surely that's better than an emergency one from the petrol station on the way home?

And at least you know he's not buying all and sundry one-if he was he'd have picked you one up at the same time!!

Its a bit lazy of him not to get his own.It only takes 10 minutes to go and buy a card so time isnt an excuse. That said maybe he was being thoughtful in his own way because another girl may know what you would like so dont worry about it too much.

Guys arent as sentimental as women and he probably really doesnt care about it...he just want to bring a smile to your face. Most women go crazy regarding Valentines day and I say you all need to snap out of it. It is the thought that counts. Accept the gift and move on.

Unfortunatley men are men and this happens alot he probably wanted to make sure he got you a really nice one so asked his sister to pick one so he didnt mess up either that or he didnt have the time. i pick up one from my dad to my mam every year but i just make sure he writes it. i'd be pee'd off if my boyfriend didnt pick it himself but not much you can do. its either that or none at all.
