How can you forget Valentines Day.... unless you have been locked up in a dark room....

Not been watching the huge marketing ploy on
TV - Marks & Spencer or Tesco adverts
Food Shopping - All the Champagne/sexual foods on offer
Card Shops - well that speaks for itself....

Even go to Google and you are faced with a reminder...!

I didn't forget. Only been married myself for 3 1/2 years and know only too well that I'll get bugger all. In fact, he doesn't bother with my birthday or Xmas either. Saying that, every now and then, out of the blue, he will bring home an item of jewellery and the thought has really gone into it - and most of that month's pay packet!!
Suprise her, by still not bothering and do something special on a day that is not celebrated by the rest of the world. Make her a card, write a poem, leave some smellies on her pillow, that sort of thing. It doesn't have to be a huge gesture to be special - just from you!

It's too commericalized by retailers, so like most events, runied. So myself and the wife don't bother. I don't want to sound a cheap-skate but £2 a card, each, and the price of flowers go up 5 times, if not more.

Valentine's day is more a daft day for single youngesters. As you get older and wiser, it can have more meaning to send flowers at a fraction of the cost but when she's not expecting them.

Nope, but we dont celebrate it except for with a card. We just havent ever gone in for the Vday stuff. I'm not sure why, I think its more to do with laziness than anything.

It's not too late to surprise her and pretend that you were faking the whole thing. Buy a load of candles and rose petals. Then decorate the bedroom, put on some romantic music and....well....you know what to do after that. :)

Good luck.

I didn't forget, I chose to sleep through most of the day, because it is the same as every other day, only a holiday commercialised and has little meaning to me anymore.
