What do you do when you ask a friend to be a bridesmaid and they turn you down?? I haven't known her THAT long of a time but I felt that we were getting pretty good friends and basically she is my only friend out here in L.A. other than my fiances family and cousins.. I only have my fiances sister and 2 friends from my home state that may or may not be able to make it. So I could end up with only 2 bridesmaids while my fiance has like 5 groomsmen.. I feel like such a loser!! What can I say to her to get her to possibly reconsider without pushing her into something she totally doesn't want to do ??

She said - "I meant to say that probably i wont have enough time to be a bridesmaid but I will still be there in your wedding, and other things if you need me before the wedding."

I am a 23 y/o female who comes from an extreamly religious family. My parents never allowed me to wear pants or make-up, or associate with people who were not with our church. They did not want me to go to college because they believed it would cause me to focus on "earthly things" I finally persuaded them that I could serve God with a degree in Nursing, and they reluctently allowed me to leave home. Our church does not condone "dating," and in my house it is strictly forbidden, (we aren't alowed to kiss or hold hands with opposite sex until marriage sex is completely forbidden .) Recently I have fell in love with a very great man but because he's not of our church, i know my parents will never apporove of our relationship. He is becomeing frustrated with my distant ways, and would like to do "more" than just talk, I fear I may lose the love of my life if I dont give into his pressures to finally let go of my virginity. What can I do? This is really painful

me and my boyfriend had got in a fight, and his dad blames every thing on me when it is his son, and i think his dad blames it on me becase his son always talks bad about me when he was the one who has hit me for no reason and his dad thinks i was asking for it but it is not true he hit me because i git upset that he lies to me, should i try to get back with him and work things out r let it be done, explain your answer plz.

My boyfriend and I broke up when I left for college. We attempted the long distance thing, but it didnt work out. I'm tired of hearing give it time, things will get better. I've got plenty to handle, to distract me from thoughts of him. I go out, I concentrate on my studies, I participate in clubs, and activities with friends. I've even gone out on dates to prove to myself that there are other great men out there! I've made a list of the good and bad, then ripped it up. Everything of him is put away in a box. I dont see or speak to him. Nothing seems to work. 18 months is ample time for something like this to heal. And though things may have gotten a little better, the pain still lurks in the shadows. I've accepted that it's over, we can never again be, and its actually for the best. Not a day goes by that he still doesnt cross my mind. Why is it that he so easily has moved on, but yet I'm stuck? How do I finally release this love thats long gone? How do I let go of my first love?

I love him very much he loves me, we are talking about our future and children but... I have just finde out that he is in debts plus doesnt earns so much ....... I dont care about his money but how can we cope in the future when I stop to work and he will look after our family?? I dont know what to do?? I dont want to loose him because of money.... I've never been depressed in my life. I was a sad person at times. But never was depressed or got anxiety. I went through alot in my life time. My sis has a habit of hurting me alot, telling lies to mom about me and being ungrateful. I put up with her all this time. End of last year I started getting frequent periods so about 3 weeks ago I went to the Doc. They gave me provera. Now I got really bad side effects. I cannot eat, sleep, I got bad anxieties. I am getting married soon to a wonderful guy. He is so kind and patient. My sis met him one time and she doesn't like him. 3 weeks ago when I talked to her she was asking personal questions about my fiance. About 3 months ago she told me that she didn't want to hurt my feelings but she doesn't like him. She lives out of state she doesn't know him like I do. My mom, aunts, uncles, cousins everyone likes him alot. I went to the Doc again they gave me Zoloft and Xanax to get rid of my other side effects of med. But no improvements.

I am having errational thought about my fiance. Sometimes I don't want to see him or like him. I love him with all my heart. I would give him my life. Do you think after speaking to my sis has elevated my anxiety? I don't want to ruin my wedding. Invitations been sent out already. I am a very religous person. I've been praying alot everyday. I am going to the doc again this week. You think it's Zolofts side effects? I feel depressed and sad. Sometimes I am happy other times I feel erritable and sad. My fiance sensed it yesterday. He said he was sad because I am sad. I love him so much. One time I even thought I was possesed by the devil. I have asked God to forgive me for having these irrational thougths. I don't want to cancel my wedding. My fiance said all he wants from me is to get better. He sill loves me very much. I feel sad for having irrational thoughts about him. I never had this problem before.

my best friend introduced me to this guy and it is her husband's cousin and they thought that we would hit it off. Well, we text just about all day every day and we never actually talk on the phone. i am going bowling with him, my friend, and her husband, but i don't know if we will talk or not because i spent the night over her house last weekend and we didn't talk at all and i'm afraid that that's what is going to happen... i like him and everything but i don't know if he feels the same about me too and i don't wanna ask him cause i don't want him to think that i am rushing him or a stalker or psycho or something like that.

i think i have issues...i think i need anger management...i live abroad from my parnets currently studyin in uni. i never get along with my mother. i feel that my dad is overprotective i.e. he doesnt let me go out clubbing etc without letting him know although he lives in a different country - trying to control every move i make...
even though he supports me financially i also work and make my own money...
i'm always under stress - im a stressful person....even my boyfriend complains....
i dont know what i want in life anymore. i mean i do know that i want to be happy, successful and for my family to be happy and not get stressed about everything. life is short right? and we should make the most out of it coz u never know whats gonna slip away ( either ur own life or someone elses)

My ex and I have been together off & on for 6 years. We broke up last year and he dated another girl. We got back together & moved in together. I found out that ex - he threw up in my face while dating her called him at New Years. He know how I felt about her and I kicked him out. We stayed away from each other, but now
