Hey people =*)
One question: How is your relationship with the in-laws .. and more specifically your mother in law and brother in law ... lol... vent if ya have to!

Personally - My mother in law is a passive-agressive CONTROLLING biotch ( she doesn't like me and it is OBVIOUS)and my brother in law is gross and he is jealous that his brother is married and he is pathetically (lol) single ... mwahaha yeah I said it - AND what!? ... ladies (and gents) vent!! and if u have a good relationship with ur in-laws - share that too! we can LEARN!

Okay, I'm assuming he's shy because I can't figure out what else he is....he's got me baffled! Usually (in my experience), guys have always been pretty easy to figure out, but not this one.
I always thought he was interested (stares, tends to be where I'm going to be, etc), so finally I offered him lunch. We got together and found out we have tons in common (so much, it's actually kinda creepy).
Then we made (or I made) a suggestion for a future get-together. He accepted, but then sorta disappeared without giving me a way to reach him.
Then a month later, he came to see me at work and acted very interested again (I know I didn't imagine it). So we decided to get together again the following week, which we did. But during that time, he almost seemed to want to be friends only...just a feeling I picked up.
Now, I'm waiting for him to show up again - I have no way to reach him. I almost get the feeling he wants to control what happens (or doesn't happen) between us.
Any ideas?

I think my girl is cheating on me.. she hides her e-mails, text messages, and deletes her phone calls... it's all over a suspicion that I have of this one guy, who I don't like, who I think she may be cheating on me with..

I told her I would not care, just be honest with me so I could move on. I told her I wanted her to be with him, and she said, "Sorry, that's not happening!" and I've basically been hinting at wanting to break up, but she just says she loves me and nothing is going on, and everything can be "worked out"

I've given her MANY chances to end the relationship, but she hasn't.. and yet she still hides and deletes her calls.. and she says nothing is going on with them two.

What should I do??

ok so me an dmy boyfriend got in a fight kinda well he said he needed time to think so he left well i work so i had a babysitter well when i got back the babysitter was gone and the kids were gone so i called her to find out what was going on she said that my boyfriend came to take them to the doctors they are not sick and they have no apomments so i called him and he said he wants to be the father of my kids even if he really aint and the only way that i can see them is if i agruee to marry him i love him and all so i said lets talk about it well he said it is yes or no i want to so i said yes plus i wanted my kids back well know he is being a jerk and i need time away from him and he will not leave me alone he calls me at work to make sure i ain't somewhere else. he called me cell phone place and has a call list of peoplpe i call sent to him so he knows i am not on the phone with any guys what can i do

I sang in the talent show at my school last friday, and only a few people have come up to me and told me that I did good. I know I rocked but everyone else is paying more attention to this other girl, true shes more popular, but still. Like right now, I'm sitting in my class and that girl's in here. You don't want the nice girl.. so don't say you're looking for a relationship: relationships take time and energy and intent, three things we're willing to extend - -but in return, we're looking for compassion and loyalty and trust, three things you never seem willing to express. Maybe nice guys finish last, but in the race they're running they're chasing after the whores and the sluts and the easy-targets...the nice girls are waiting at the finish line with water and towels and a congradulatory hug(and yes,if she's a nice girl and she likes you, the sweatiness probably won't matter),hoping against hope that maybe you'll realize that they're the ones that you want at the end of that silly race.So maybe it won't last forever.Maybe some of those guys in that race will turn in their running shoes and make their way to the concession stand where we're waiting; however, until that happens,we still have each other,that silly race to watch, and all the chocolate we eat......

For my wedding my MIL showed up in a dress different than we had picked for her. There was nothing I could do other than let the wedding proceed.....
But afterwards I felt she "owed" me !!!!!

This past weekend was the start of a very bad week, my brother used my jeep to go to a party, and when he was leaving, someone broke my drivers side window and was trying to steal my ride, so now i have no window and it started to rain and will continue to rain for the week, now i know V-day is coming up, and yet again i am alone for another depressing holiday. Why do we, in this culture (western civilization) believe that men and women are meant to live together in some kind of symbiotic balanced relationship? People believe you have to search for a "compatible partner" and then you will stick together forever like positive and negatively charged magnets.

Has anyone ever considered that this is actually not natural, and when you look at the history of human relationships you very very rarely see this sort of thing in most cultures?

I'm in love with someone who is completely trustworthy. But they have someone in their life that is in love with them. And even though my special someone doesn't reciprocate those feelings I still overreacte ALL the time when they're together. Because I know that they other person is completely and madly in love with my significant other. I make them upset and it causes friction between us when I can't get over this person. But I do know that my significant other is in love with me and has deomonstrated and proven it time and time again.
A while back when we weren't as serious as we are now, I did something stupid that should have cost me this relationship and I didn't own up to it until just recently, but my someone forgave me and still wants to be with me.
My question is this: Is it just me? And is it because I haven't forgiven myself? How do I get over this? I want to be able to have a stable healthy relationship with them, but I always seem to mess things up. What do I do?
