if you are not ready to have friends wait and learn to trust yourself and people arround you,about slowing down tht may be truth because some friends support you and the others...

I only have 3 close friends. I think they are good to have but keep the number at a minimum.

A friend isn't someone who "slows you down" (or drags you down, or whatever you meant to say). A friend supports and encourages and is there to help you celebrate or to console you when needed.
My friends are invaluable to me. They don't slow me down at all...they give spark and spice to my life that wouldn't otherwise be there and I can never show my appreciation enough to them for that.

my friends do not slow me down at all. they are all smart and they all have good grades. i dont hang around people that are the waste of time.

You should not keep people away from u.....open up to new adventures with other people....be friendly and don't be scared if anything goes wrong just keep going, but don't shut down yourself!!!!!!!!
