I have been married two months. This is the second marriage for both of us. His first wife cheated. Now suddenly he is showing insanely jealous behavior. I'm in marketing, and he doesn't want me to attend any "socializing" functions for work - even though that's part of my job - especially if there is alcohol involved, unless he can be there. We've been arguing about this, and he won't back down. His lack of trust is hurting our marriage. I have done absolutely nothing to cause this behavior. Are there any books or materials I can give to him that may help him with this jealousy?

I like to give nick names to friends and for the 1st time, I’m stuck. His name is David and he was my roommate ones, so his old nick name was rmd short for roommate david, but because he is not my roommate, well, that nick name dose not make sense any more. Here is his profile; he is athletic, body builder, geeky, friendly, real good heart like a kid.

I plan on having a "distant wedding." I refuse to call it a destination wedding because it will be in my native city and country, where my parents still live. It's in Brazil, so it has opposite seasons to the US. I know winter in Brazil is barely worthy of the name winter, but I still want to avoid the months of june-september.

Some of my friends, but most importantly one of his cousins and his "cousin-in-law" have restraints however. It is out of the question to have a wedding from january-april for his cousin who is an accountant, and his cousin in law is a teacher. We haven't discussed it with him yet (we would rather put that off). But we are hoping to have an october or november wedding.

The question is- is it reasonable for most (public) HS teachers to take off 3 days in october? That's what subs are for, right?

I would love to get a teacher's perspective!

I have a crush on one of my friends at school, but the real problem is that she is dating someone who when around his friends ignores her. I don't think it's right. She has confided in me that she thinks he is cheating on her, and I think he is. All of her close girl friends are the ones telling her that they think he is cheating on her too. I don't know what to do. I want to wait till she breaks up with him, but I also want to stop her from getting hurt. What should I do??

He has done it all and i kno i can do much better, but my brain tells me one thing and my heart tell me another. I luv this person, but how much more deception can i take from some1 who has hurt me so much, yet i still give this person a chance to start over. Dont get me wrong i have changed so much, but for the better. I kno what i did wrong in the relationship and i c what i did to push him away so far, that he made it true. So what can i do if we are both open with each other 100%. Can we really be a happy family ?

Though they say that a person should think well of him/herself without any approbation from others, is it really true? I mean, for example, if a woman can get none men or only good for nothing men, she is not good. The same goes for a man.
If a woman is surrounded by men, and can get nice men, it means that she is wonderful. The same for a man.
It's like a product: when it's good, they buy it. When it's not, they
don't.
And this "you are a great person, you should not mind others, and feel great on your own" is just a consolation for people who fail to please others - with looks, or financially.
If others do not think the person is nice, then that person is not,
isn't it so?

I tried looking them up on the website, but couldn't find them. I want to buy them in bulk to use for my wedding reception and I just wanted to see how much they were! Thanks!

My best guy-friend has a really "slutty" girlfriend and she is cheating on him, with multiple gys. We have a class together, and she doesn't know that I know him, this is how I hear about all of her OTHER boyfreinds. So do I tell him that she is cheating on him, or just let it be?

about a year ago i ran into this guy and we instantly clicked. It was definitly a mutual attraction.i was still bitter about catching my ex of few years cheating(they r mutual friends)he listened and understood,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentlman.things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual friend said he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who is still,1 1/2 yrs later, trying to get me back)so this guy kept his distance.i saw him 2 months later and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.I sent him a text a couple weeks later and he never replied.i saw him again at a party 6 months later,he walked in saw me and looked away quick.my x was at the party also,i know i need to stay away from my x but my brother is best friends with him,so he will always be around.

This isn't necessarily a serious question i'm just looking for funny and or quirky answers, they could be a bit stupid, but also make sure they are at least a little believeable! i don't want any 'tell the truth' or 'i'm ill' excuses, got all those covered! thanks x

So if my husband is friends with a guy that cheats on his wife and sees nothing wrong with it... should I be concerned that my husband will do the same?

I wrote a blog dedicated to this topic to expand on my thoughts. If you are curious check out my profile for the link.

I am getting married in May and have decided to use silk/artificial flowers. I'm not sure on colors, flowers, or where to get them. My dress is ivory with a champagne trim and my bridesmaids are champagne and maid of honor is latte. Groomsmen are wearing champagne vests and Groom and Best Man are wearing Mossy Oak/Camo vests. I need colors that will go with everyone. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Me and my husband move to another state and about 2 years after we moved I started talking to one of our old friends on the phone. We talked every day for 4 months until I came back for a visit and ended up staying with this man for about a week. My husband found out and forgave me. Well now we have moved back to our home state and me and hubby have seperated and dont plan on working things out. This other man is calling me occasionally just to talk but now he has a girlfriend. Do you think there is any chance that we could be together again. (yes we have hooked up once since I came back). If not then why does he call me because its not just for the booty. He calls just to talk or at 11:00 pm when she is asleep and he cant hook up anyway.

I have been seeing this guy for about a month and a half and he acts sweet and stuff when we are alone but when we are out with friends he is all over the place and doesn't pay me much attention. Also, he has a tendency to try and prove to his friends he is not whipped when I have never insinuated that he was. When he does this he usually says things that hurt my feelings. I am sure I need to sit down and talk to him, but I am not sure what I should say to get through to him. Any advice?
