Though they say that a person should think well of him/herself without any approbation from others, is it really true? I mean, for example, if a woman can get none men or only good for nothing men, she is not good. The same goes for a man.
If a woman is surrounded by men, and can get nice men, it means that she is wonderful. The same for a man.
It's like a product: when it's good, they buy it. When it's not, they
don't.
And this "you are a great person, you should not mind others, and feel great on your own" is just a consolation for people who fail to please others - with looks, or financially.
If others do not think the person is nice, then that person is not,
isn't it so?

Yes, I think that the worth of the person is defined by others. It's like diamonds: they decided to treat them as the most precious stones in the world, and they are.

No, that it is not so. Your logic is skewed. TOTALLY

Not to mention you seem to define 'good' and 'bad' with getting or not getting a member of the opposite sex.

No WONDER some of you younger people are so messed up these days!

I don't live my life on the approval of others. If I am good looking and financially stable, that is my own effort for myself. I don't live to please others. I live to love others as I love my self. I don't exist with bad men or bad people. I am a magnet to good people. And good man..
