i am eighteen and live with my mother with my son, but i would like to move out as soon as i finish this year in school since im a senior. my boyfriend and i would like to move into our own apartment, but im sort of confused on how to achieve my goal of getting my own place. i want my own place so my son and i can have our own pace and because i want to start having my own family with my boyfriend instead of trying to take care of our son when we live in to separate home. also at the same time i would like to get a job so i can start doing things for me and my son. like saving up for college and having enough money for my apartment and the things i need in it and all the things my son will need. my grandmother wont let me get a job though because she said i need to focus on school and my son, but having a job will help me feel a lot better about my situation. can somebody please help me and please dont come with negative comments because im just an 18 year old teen looking for help!!!!

I called the guy that I liked last night. In my gut it felt right before but when I started dialing his number, I thought I was going to barf. I was so scared!! All I could think was " What if he gets mad that I called him?" "What if he was talking to his girlfriend that I don't know about?" I was just freakin out!

He never answered and I felt relief. Then he called back a few minutes later and felt sick to my stomach while I was talking to him. I can't tell if that is a good sign or not...

my mom and i hardly ever get along
she always talks pessimistically
i always speak optimistically
she really butts into my school life -although i know it's her right -but, for example, this 1 teacher wouldn't let me switch into her class and was mean to me so my mom wrote a 2 page article for the newspaper, emailed the mean teacher, and set up an appointment to see that teacher(although i told my mom to just let it b)
she only speaks with me about the above or serious stuff or upsetting stuff -- i've heard it a million times!
i couldn't stand hearing that conversation 1 more time today so i told her that i already knew what she was going to say and asked her to please try talking about something else for once...and she got mad at me and was all "i'm watching out for u and if u don't c that then screw u!!!!"
she knows i respect her cuz i do basically all the housework and buy her presents a lot...and am usually really nice
it has ALWAYS been like this between us
please help

My boyfriend has gotten me a butt load of stuff for valetines day, but i have yet to get him anything except a 5ft. tall bear that says "I Love You" in the heart he is holding. I want to get him a couple more things but he won't tell me anything he wants cause i pretty much covered the stuff he likes for christmas. So tell me some ideas!

This guy ended our dating relationship. From then on, he gives me calls during his busy work schedule or when he usually doesn't call me.. the fact is, most of the calls are only 1 minute long.. what? he can't wait till he gets home or something? and, he keeps bugging me to give him something when he knows he can buy it himself. (i've told him many times).. he never told me he misses me.

plus, he sometimes replies with, "because you miss me/you're thinking of me"

is he using me? or does he miss me?

I like this guy a lot and he means the world to me and i let him know but recently i just found out he only wants to have sex. we sit in rows in Biology at college, and directly in front of me is this boy called Mark, he's fat. Every lesson i can see his bum crack, i can't help it: it's a whopping great canyon of a crack!! ive asked the teacher to be moved (but not the reason why) and i wasn't allowed, what should i do?? i don't want to offend him, he's alright. It's just it's so distracting. Plus he has lots of lower back hair...*shudder*

What if your boyfriends family only speaks Spanish how will you be able to communicate with everyone? I only speak English and got invited to his familie's wedding and I think I would feel akward 'cause I only speak English and I just want them to like me,but I don't think I'll be able to communicate with his family. what i mean is that when there r hardships in life..i become very realistic and practicle but not really optomistic...what i mean by being realistic is that i can not say comforting words when i know things aren't going to be ok...then how can i help my husband by comforting him what words can i use to say other than "i told you so" or "i knew this would happen" which is obviously not so comforting when some one is tensed in this case both of us are worried abt sum issue? when i become worried i just forget the good side of sumthing if there will ever be
