I guess it would depend on how you feel about what you did. You cheated on him and thats about the worst thing you can do in a relationship. If he still want you, then consider yourself lucky. There are a lot of reasons why people cheat. One of those reasons can be that it just happened. But think about why it happened. A lack of respect for your boyfriend? Not getting any sex from him? Did you think the sex would be better from someone else? did you want to try a little something different? Were you angry at your b/f?
You might just tell him that what you did was stupid and thoughtless and it just happened. You might want to say that you are sorry. You might want to tell him how you feel about him. You may want to ask him to forgive you because it sounds like that hasn't happened yet.

he doesn't need u anymore - he loves u, but everytime he sees u, his heart wilts in pain cuz he doesn't understand why u would cheat on him and doesn't know what he can do to keep u from doing that again cuz there is nothing he can change or do to make it surely not happen again
what u need to do is to leave him
he might hurt or beg u to come back, but refuse
why?
cuz he will never accept "i don't know" as an answer
and if u truely loved him, there would be NO reason to cheat(even if u don't know the reason u did cheat, u wouldn't have cheated on him if what u were getting out of the relationship)
frankly, this relationship will probably not make it cuz of ur decision and because u have no reason why
if the guy is out of ur life completely (not even friends--as hard as it may seem)...it will be better for the both of u

I think you should not cheat on people. You have no good reason, maybe your boyfriend isn't doin' it for you. Remember he will never trust you the same way again. Maybe you two should call it quits. You are not sorry or you wouldn't have done it.
