well ir ecently told my best guy friend that i love him like love love him and he idnt say that he liked me or not...so im kinda conpuzzled about him...im 12 but almost 13 and hes 14 and 15 in may...we no like everything about each other and some people say just to focus on our friendship but i dont no if that s enuff 4 me...plz giive advice...

Girl, you are in eighth grade. You have your whole life ahead of you! :) You and your friend have all the time in the world to fall in love, if that's where you're going to end up. Just give him a little time. Guys take some time to process things like this, especially if they don't see it coming. If he doesn't give you an answer within the next two weeks, carefully bring the subject back up (as in, "hey, remember what I told you last week about us...?").
One thing that probably freaked him out was your use of the word love. Love is an incredibly strong word! I know you must feel very passionately about him, but love is more than just a feeling-- it is a commitment, perhaps a lifetime commitment, and at age 12 you should be wary about dedicating your life to this guy. Slow down. If you're meant to be together, things will fall together for you-- if you're patient. :)

Um, okay. I'm in 8th grade, too. I told my best guy friend I liked him too and there's a difference between like and love. You are twelve years old. You can NOT honestly say you are in love. Many people do it and it is just not possible, okay? Even if you guys are close friends, there is a two-year age difference in your relationship. Age differences are fine for friends and may not always work out in relationships. Sometimes they do perhaps, but maybe you should've told him you have a crush on him and you don't "love" him, which isn't true, no matter how much you feel you like him. All of us get these huge crushes and I guarentee it's not love.

I'm sorry, but I dont think he likes you back. But he sounds like a sweet guy because he doesn't want to let you down by saying no straight out. I wouldn't try to make any moves on him, just keep on being friends, it will make things the least awkward.

ok the first thing you should ever do was TO TELL HIM YOU LOVE HIM FIRST!!! and if he didn't say anything then just talk to him about it, and if he is really one of your best friend and then he will. + you will have 2 give him sometime 2 think about everything

ok so i know how it feels and i know you are really feeling all those love feeling but hunny you are way to young to be in love your 12 and a healthy age to fall in love it about 19 to well till your to old to eat ok
it will most likely freak him out a ton and it should it to soon but i know you feel like you love him but its to soon wait a couple years hun

when i was in jr high i had the biggest crush ever but we stayed just friends but now, 10 yrs later we are still best friends but they crush has reversed and now she likes me. so...dont give up hope
