First, our background. My boyfriend and I have been living together for 2 years, and about a year ago he started earning enough for me to be a homemaker. My day is usually spent cleaning dishes, picking up items, vacuuming and cleaning when necessary. I don't have dinner ready when he gets home because he won't know until the last second if he's coming home after work. I get frustrated when I can't sit for a period of time because he wants a drink or snack - partially because they're so specific (example: for PB toast, the bread must be toasted 1 1/2 times and PB applied immediately so it's melted). Should I be expected to clean up after his friends? What about pay for cleaning supplies? What rights should I have? A lot of arguments end with him bringing up that I have more free time. If I want to watch TV when he's home, he says I can watch TV all day when he's gone. If I don't want his friends over past midnight, he says I have all day to sleep. Is there a happy medium?

Okay here's the deal.
I never have had a boyfreind, and yet all of my friends who I know for a fact are not the best looking people [to put it simply] somehow snag all of the guys. I am shy, and intelligent. I write poetry like I breathe air. I am my own person and don't allow people to tell me what to do. I am in love wth my best guy friend, and I don't know what to do about it. To put it simple terms: I am confused.

I don't know why I haven't ever had a boyfriend. Personality-wise, I am great. But, what about beauty-wise? Please be honest. Also, how old do I appear to look? Many people say I look older than what I actually am.

Now my ex and I haven't been together for awhile, but tried the whole friendship thing....well, with benefits. I know I shouldn't but now my ex has found someone steady and has told me we can ONLY remain friends, nothing more. Yet last month when we hung out, one thing led to another, and my ex was with the new gf already. Recently we stopped talking, but this has happened before...where we stop talking then the ex comes crying and saying I miss you etc...if they just want to remain friends, why can't they just make up their minds and just leave it at that!?!?! Why the mind games??? One day it's "I love and miss you", other days it's "ok, I can't talk now, I'm busy, etc"....my ex knows how much I care and love em...but my mind and heart continues to be played with...it's hard to let go, but I know I should...right? I was completely faithful,loyal and loving...but my ex cheated...yet, I care deep down. Do they ever regret leaving you...once you've left for good???

My best friend and I talk on the phone everyday. And, usually, she calls me, and she hasn't called yet. She usually calls between noon and 3 pm, and right now it's 6:00 pm. Yesterday we had kind of a bad phone call, where I got really paranoid with her, but it wasn't bad enough that we're mad at each other now. At least I think so. I'm not mad at her, and she wasn't mad when we got off yesterday. But maybe that was because her mom was there... Anyway, I have my 2nd best friend over at my house right now, but she's playing a computer game on my second computer so she doesn't know I'm typing this. But I can't call her. "out of sight, out of mind". Me and my gf of 8 years broke up a few days ago and she is heading away overseas in 2 weeks for between 2 weeks and 3 months. I told her i didnt want to hear from her or see her but i didnt really mean that and i miss her badly and want her back. She does still love me but says she needs to be alone. This is definately not about her looking for new love either. I don't think i should call her because i will push her away and i am worried she may not call me because i told her not to. Do you think that absence will make her heart grow fonder? If so, would she still call me despite what i said?

I have no contact with relatives. I have one sister but she got married and moved away. I hear from her like twice a year. My father works all the time and my mom is deeply religious and there are very few conversations I can have with her that aren't about Jesus. Surely I'm better off than a dysfunctional family, but there's really nothing I can say.
