Absolutely. The strongest relationships are when you were friends with the guy first. I am dating my best guy friend right now and everything has been going perfectly. We have been dating for 6 months!! It helps becuase we have known eachother for so long and we are comfortable and real with eachother like we always have been. We have lots of inside jokes, we know the problems they have and more stuff than just some random boyfriend would know. I have felt closer to my best guy friend ( now boyfriend) than I ever have with any other guy, even when we werent dating. I think that dating your really close guy friend is very considerable. I mean come on, if you are really close then you know that you get along, you have things and common and there is chemistry, since you already are really close.

For me, yes. I married my best friend. If you are both physically affectionate then the possibility for romance is there. (Does she touch you more than her other friends?) I used to hang out with a guy and a girl, the 3 of us were inseparable. We all claimed to be platonic friends but he and I never touched other than a hug now and again. The other girl and he were always touching in little barely noticable ways. He and I remained good friends. She and him wound up living together.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I have a crush on my best guy friend right now. I don't want to mess up our friendship if he doesn't like me back, though.

personally, i tend to fall for my guys friends... especially if they are good looking and like to be around me. I think, as corny as it sounds, a friendship can turn into a lot more if you do things right. maybe try to get her away from the crowd a little and see how things go one on one. hope that makes a little sense! : )

yeah i'd rather have a guy that i'm comfortable with then to start fresh with a guy and have to get to know him from point A to point B. So i would say yes and thats what i would do.

i had a guy friend, and i did the big mistake of asking him out on a date...he said "no", and we haven't talked to each other since...i regret it that i asked him this, or else we'd still be friends right now.
