i need to know what to put on a life insurance policy for beneifeary but boyfriend sounds so high school. it is a male and female relationship.

Partner, or Life Partner. This is a good word for heterosexual live-ins as well :) By the way, your partner can't be considered your common-law husband until you've been living together for a number of years... I think it's seven. Good luck with your life policy :)
