I also want to know the same thing and the most answers I get from my true friends are just to be yourself. Some will like you and some won't but you can't pick and choose who they like or who they don't like.

You don't have to necessarily be fake or do anything sleazy to make guys like you. "Just be yourself" is a great philosophy, but in and of itself it's not going to always show results. What you have to do is, at the very least, convince the guys that you're somebody worth spending time with.
Show them how you have some signs of a brain. I don't mean reciting calculus equations, but showing them that you can act down-to-earth, and are not a moron or a psycho. Show them you can talk about subjects other than people's emotions or gossip (BIG points if you show you're knowledgeable or at least interested in learning about something a guy likes). Keep good hygene and don't dress like a slob. Tell them things that will make them laugh (just not at either of your expenses). You'll never get every guy to like you, but you'll still be miles ahead of the women who do nothing but nag and play head games.

Dress nice,be clean, smell nice, act nice, be intelligent, hang out where guys hang out, go to dances, parties, be cool calm and collected at all times,have a personality plus, be a winner, have a great attitude, be friendly,take an interest in what the opposite sex is doing, ask intelligent questions that males can answer, participate in both sex functions, go to church, go to the library, don't smoke, don't do drugs, stay away from bad situations, be helpful, be interactive, be positive, smile, have proper manners and understanding at all times and try to be sexy.

Just be yourself. Also just let nature run its course. When you are not actively looking for love, that's when it seem to happen.
