I accidently called her # this morning instead of my doctors which is one # different. Now she keeps telling me i can have her husband and wants to know how long we have been seeing eachother. this guy is i have never meet and dont know this couple. the police say since she is calling my cell phone there is nothing i can do. any advice would be great..

Where do you live, in outer space. What do you mean, the police said you can't do anything because it's a cell. Get the number "blocked". See a lawyer, and sue her for "harassment". I believe there is now a law for "telephone harassment". There is small claims court, under $5 Grand, and then there is a Criminal Court, that is why I am telling you to see a lawyer. Record and save all the "phone" messages, mark down the number of calls,time,date,etc. Keep a record. See a lawyer, and if you can, move from the state you live in, the law sucks where ever you are!You got lousy advice from the police, and if I were you, go do a Google search on your state laws, and go back to the police with your information, and get this woman "charged", at least as a "public nuisance" and illegal use of phone. Here are some things you can do:
1. Just plain stop answering her calls.
2. Some cell phones block calls from certain people ( I think) If yours does, get you cell phone to block her calls. You may have to talk to your cell phone plan provider about it.
3. Tell her flat out that you have no idea who she is and who her husband is and tell her not to call her anymore or you will have to take further enforcement.
4. This is a stupid idea, but it works for vendors trying to sell you stuff or ask for donations over the phone for various orginizations and reasons. Okay you can answer her phone call and laugh hysterically and keep laughing and laughing untill she hangs up. Or you can do the same thing but just keep fake crying. Or every time she calls tell her ," I"m sorry but i'm not looking to buy anything bye" and hang up. Or keep saying i'm sorry but you are calling the wrong number and hang up. Just make up anything to get her annoyed and she should stop calling you. This method also makes it more fun rather than annoying or irrating to you. Also you can try just breathing heavily into the phone until she hangs up or sing a barney song or something.

find a way to block the number or simply just tell her the truth on not knowing her husband and she is blowing a wrong number phone call way out of proportion.
If she doesn't believe you; tell her how you feel with your true feelings and hope she realizes you are serious.

I would just have the Cell number changed, and hope that you were prudent not to give out any personal information to her about you.
You never know this woman could turn out to be some one you don't want stalking you.

She is probably mistaken in some way. Tell her that you know nothing about her or her husband. She is also probably having some trouble with her husband, maybe listen to her story and provide advice. Then she might stop bugging you.

Next time she calls, say "Okay,I'll be over in 10 minutes" and hang up the phone.

ask the lady where she lives, tell her you'd be glad to drive over when her husband gets home and introduce yourself, but that you've honestly never met him....some women are that insecure, or should I say, guys make women feel that insecure by cheating, lying, etc.....dont really know what to tell ya tho...this woman sounds like a piece of work!
