How did you feel when you lied and cheated. Did your mate find out and what happened? More so, how did you feel?? I want to know how a cheater thinks and how he/she feels when they do it and after? Serious answers please, I am very curious?? I never cheated, but my now ex did on me.

Not good. I felt like i was betraying the one thing that I cherished and that was my marriage. I told my now ex husband that I cheated and things went down hill from there. At the time I felt good. But, when you know that you have just jeopardized your relationship just for a quick roll in the hay with someone else. It hurts.

For me, I grew up in a very religious home, knowing it was not just wrong, but that God frowned up on it. (It's one of the commandments) So, not only did I feel terrible guilt for what happened, but I felt like I didn't even deserve the acknowledgement of God....nor his forgiveness. I wished I could re-wind it, so that some day I wouldn't have to tell my children what happened before someone else did. I felt sick in the pit of my stomach. I felt so small, knowing how I'd feel if this happened to me (then it did with my now second husband). I felt like I'd let MYSELF down, and knew that even if I redeemed my wicked ways, PEOPLE would never let me forget, and they haven't, and here it is almost 10 years later. I felt I'd never be able to hold my head up with pride.
However, be advised, that SOME people don't learn a lesson out of it, nor feel any remorse, sympathy, or desire to stop.
I feel sorry for those people.

They dont feel bad about the lie.
They have already figured out a way to justify it by blaming it on YOU!
They may or may not feel bad about being caught
but not for the act
chances are that the girl that he cheated on you for was not a girl that he wanted to stay with
If she knew about you then she obviously did not have that much going for herself anyway so he could only find someone with painfully low self esteem to even allow themselves to be in that roll.

A person with even a small amt. of moral character feels horrible. People who have no character think who cares as long as it felt good at the time and the hell with my marriage vows, the hell with my wife, the hell with my children, etc. There are some cheaters who do spend years regretting their actions, esp. when their kids don't keep in touch with them.

SWEETIE, I HAVE NEVER CHEATED ON ANYONE IN MY LIFE BUT MY OLDER BROTHER HAS CHEATED ON HIS FIANCE' A COUPLE OF TIMES. im ashamed to say it but i have cheated and i felt terrible specially if its with someone you care about, cheating is never worth it if they wanna play the feild then stay single

I cheated on my girlfriend because she told me that she had cheated on me. I forgave her because i liked her a lot but she had to pay for what she did, so i cheated on her too and i told her that i cheated on her because she did it also. So, now it is even, I haven't cheated on her and i don't think she has cheated on me.
