some people work 2 jobs or both parents work and you see your children once they are in bed.how can you call yourself a good parent if you don't spend time with them. it seems daycares are raising our children. are we in a time where we hardly see our kids and that's why alot of them fall into gangs and drugs. what is your opinion?

I am pretty experienced...and I just got out of a really long relationship with someone. I am really looking for the right guy, and I am scared that I am just going to find another jerk who is just going to want sex from me.

Besides the obvious of asking, how do you know if he is juts int oyou for sex?

I started dating this new guy... I am really into him, and he seems perfect. He is a youth leader at church, a singer, a guitar player, an excellent student, a sweet, romantic guy, and he tells me all the time that he is crazy about me. We have made out before (one time) and like he would just like place his hand on my lower back and like stroke my back and pull me close in. He would kiss on my neck and stuff, but has never tried anything else. I am just terrified that he is only into me for sex becuase I have been hurt by so many guys so many times who just wanted one thing and I had no idea.

How do I know? Does this guy sound like a keeper?

My maid of honor asked for my guest list for my bridal shower and I don't know who I should invite. My ceremony is very small and immediate family only, so I'm not sure its a good idea to invite my extended family that will only will be invited to the reception. I don't know who to invite. OK... So I'm trying to end this long term off and on again relationship. I keep ending it because it's not going where I want. To try to stop me from leaving he tries to put restrictions on me, but doesn't change his behavior. And so I leave again. I guess I keep going back because I love him. It's hard for me to say these things in person. So, I wrote him a letter (not wanting to fight) telling him that I don't want to end things again only to come back again. I'm tired of hurting him by leaving, but if he can't give me what I need I should find it elsewhere. (The issue of course being quality time) I let him know that I never went back expecting he had changed, I just missed him. But once we're talking again here he comes with what he wants me to do, but never gives me what I need. I can't do it anymore. I wrote him two letters, but he never mentioned them. He started calling more, but no real change in his behavior. Any way I can do this gently in a way that will work?

my friend has a girlfriend but when ever me or my friends ask about her he changes the subject!! i don't get it like he was over at my house sat. & she texted him but he made it all secret & left the room!! thats pretty weird considering he tells me EVERYTHING!!!! & i really mean that!!& he has had other girlfriends but he talked about them!!why is this one so diffirent???

I might sound like a total jerk, but i find my school work is far more important than friends. And lately my grades haven't been meeting MY standards. I've tried different studying tips and all, but i figured out that my friends are a distraction. And i want to end any realationships with them. My boyfriend is 26 hes a 1st LT we have been talking about getting married because he might be getting stationed in Germany! So when we were in the midwest at Christmas with his family he said we will go to the court house if I get the job because I wont go without you. But now it looks like he is going to be getting the job and it stresses me out and scares me cause he will be gone for 2 years. When he told me I stayed strong and I was kidding and I said you cant go without me and he said well you cant go. So I dont know if he is just saying that or if he is going to propose and hes just trying to throw me off. Then this weekend I finally broke down and we both started crying and he said "you mean the world to me and I know that your the women I want to merry, I just dont know what to do." We both cryed most of the weekend. He said he wanted to avoid the talk because he doesnt know if hes going to get the job or not! I just dont know how to take all of this im scared more than anythi

dont know whats the deal, she never comes to me for it, and I have tried so long going to her only to hear the word "NO" that I think we have lost it and have become some type of room mates? I mean we might do it once a month if that, but even then there is no hot and heavy it's like wham bam and then we both dont feel as tense with each other. I think it's causing stress. I met this woman about two weeks ago, and took her out to lunch. I didnt expect to hear from her again, and started seeing this other woman. I REALLY like this other woman, and want to have a relationship with her. The first girl called me a few days ago and asked me to take her out. So, yesterday, I did with the full intention of telling her that I just wanted to be friends. Well, we went back to my house to watch the super bowl, and one thing led to another and she left the next morning. okay, i am really attracted to a postal worker at the local post office- I go there 4 times a week for my home based business- and we share a few jokes back and forth. He seems like a very quiet reserved person, and i am quite shy as well. he is also older than i am- i am 26, he is in his late 40's but looks quite young. he looks to be quite artsy, and since i teach classical guitar lessons- i was going to ask him if he would like a complimentary lesson, if he doesn't already play that is. This part is for the over 40 males out there- would you be put off by a younger woman casually asking you out? is it tacky to offer something like lessons? i don't do the club scene, and i am a homeowner- have a steady job, and most of my friends are over 40, so i don't feel i would be too immature for him- what do you think? it seems like we have similar interests and personality- i am just feeling like a chicken- any ideas on how to go about this without seeming over the top?
