There is a lot of emphasis on non-emotional, totally physical relationships today, but no matter how much I try and just can't approach a woman with the attitude that she is just a sex object to be used solely for my pleasure. I wonder if this is because I am sexually immature. Should I just approach a woman as 'no big deal, just a lay' and try and not make a big deal about it until I get to know her better?

Me? I split with the bf a week or two ago and I am not sure what to do next. I felt as though I didn't want to be in the relationship and now I am spending a lot of time wondering if I made a huge mistake. It all seemed so perfect for months - we both thought we had found The One - then suddenly it stopped, the closeness was gone and we could no longer speak to each other without bitterness and resentment (because we were disappointed in each other?)

Have you got a story you want to share?

My parents have been married for 9 years and the last 2 year they have really started to get on my nerves. They have at least 1 big fight every 2 weeks and 3 small fights thrown in there some where ( on average ) They won't get a divorce and they know they want to but they wont bc they are afraid it will hurt me, but what really hurts me is the fact that they are even staying together. I want to talk to them but I am to afraid they will think that I am asking them to get a divorce. I can't stand running away and hiding any more or the yelling. I can't stand the mean words or the hitting or shuving. I just want a normal life. What do I do??

i have had alot less sex lately but damn ! i was on the bus today. the girl next to me kind of excited me so to say. then this really cute asin chic has no seat and had her crotch a foot from my face. oh she was so hot. next thing you know im visualizing having sex w/ her and my genitals were actually moving in sequence to my imaginary thrusts. next thing i know i came. im not really complaining. is this perverted or am i still normal for being so thoughtfull with strangers ? and is it normal to reach orgasm like this ? please refrain from imature comments.

I am a psychologist and am currently doing some research in the area on relationships. Do you believe that a couple can have an open sexual relationship with other partners, both together or not, and still be deeply in love and committed to one another? Have you ever been or are you still in a sexually open relationship? Does sex between two or more people purely for the purpose of sexual gratification exist? Can you have a sexual relationship with some one and not grow emotionally attached? Some claim open sexual relationships last longer and are less stressful due to the “mistrust” issue 85% of relationships suffer from, while others claim you can’t have a relationship unless its monogamous. I implore you to answer honestly and openly. Share your beliefs, thoughts, ideas, and experiences alike. No “none of your business” answers please, as this is a very serious question. Thank you for your input.

Why is it that a woman can put on heels, a miniskirt, makeup, and perfume to go to Wal-Mart and mean nothing but if a guy throws on some cologne before going anywhere without her, she says, "Who you tryin' to smell good for?"?

I have recently discovered that an 'friend' of mine has lied to me about almost everything, from her age, to the various reasons she's given me that she's become 'suicidal'. SOmetime last year she started faking depression to get more attention, which I fell for at first but now I know the truth. She found out that I did and at first, just ignored me, then completely ditched myself and the little group of friends I hang out with, and, even though I know it's a bit harsh, I started celebrating, as all her moping was really bringing all of us down. However, after a week, she's trying to come back and be friends again, and, although I really don't trust her, I'm starting to feel bad for being so cruel about her leaving. One of my closest friends is urging me to trying and accepting her again, but I'm not so sure... What should I do?

After several months my ex boyfriend and I started meeting again because he offered to help with something and we started just seeing each other as friends

He treats me at time attentive and at times so indifferent it is always extremely mixed and confussing to spend hours one day to then go and forget I exist

He put his hand inside his pants to scratch the side of the leg but the upper part I turned my head away he did that again another time and again I turned my head; he unbotton his pants and belt from eating too much to then fix it in front of me I told him to turn around or go to the bathroom because I see his skin He got offended but then too made fun of me for saying is not respecting my home or me he said what is there to respect; to him is not bad to show his skin or fix his belt but we had not dated for over almost a year and a half; he never did that before He does not love me or wants to really have me in his life as a person I think why do it ?

I was out last night with work colleagues and a girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:

She wants us to get on - at work and outside
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants us to get to know each other better

When we're alone we find it difficult to talk to each other and it goes silent ASAP.(happened today at work!)

Each time we talk, I find it more uncomfortable/difficult as I don't know what to say! She's asked if I'd go to her birthday bash in a few weeks - I don't know what to say???

Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions on how to deal with this???

p.s. we do flirt with each other and she has a Boyfriend of 2 years.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship
