why is it accepted for women to beat on men?

A man can have a woman arrested for beating on him. Its not acceptable except by immature people who haven't either been hit back or locked up.

It really isn't. However "back in the day" boys were taught not to hit girls. (although once they got married it was perfectly acceptable for them to beat the crap out of their wives). A lot of the "hitting" goes back to when the adult was spanked as a child. They figure that it is okay to hit out of anger and frustration and that is pretty much why women hit men. I can't tell you how many times during my marriage I wanted to take a crack at my ex but because I wasn't willing to teach such behavior to my daughter I refrained. I also refrained from spanking her. Now if she is at a point of anger or frustration with a guy she will simply walk away rather than lash out physically because hitting wasn't taught in her home. As for if a man hits a woman she can have him arrested...ever since the ERA passed if a woman hits a man he CAN have her arrested, it's just that a number of men won't because it would be a blow to their egos to admit being beaten up by a woman.

I don't think that it is accepted for women to beat on men , but the women who do , yes, I think they think that they can get away with it or they have been abused and want someone to hit them as weird as that may seem. Anyone who gets physical with another person has problems and need help. Women can be charged with assault just like a man can, so if you are being hit by a woman call the police don;t hit back but don't let her get away with it as some day she may have children who cannot defend them selves

I don't think it is acceptable either way for women to beat men or men to beat women. I guess in the example you gave, that might be the case ... but it still isn't right.

It's not acceptble behavior for anyone, regardless of gender,
to smack on anyone else. If anyone is arrested for pounding on
someone it's mainly to diffuse a situation before it gets any worse
and the judgement call goes to the officer to decide which party
to remove to add the most coolant.

It is not accepted. But because women are usually physically weaker than men, people don't take it as serious. It is a very bad bad thing. I don't think ALL female abusers do it for this reason, but I think it gets done because they don't know how to express their anger correctly.

Last time I checked it was not acceptable for a woman to beat on a man anymore than it is acceptable for a man to beat on a woman.It has to be reported in order for her or him to be arrested in the first place.It is called domestic violence/assault and battery etc..It is punishable in a court of law regardless.If you are a man or woman committing this offense.If you do not believe me call your local law enforcement agency next time she starts beating on you.

I don't believe in any women hitting a guy unless its for self defense. If she is the type that just hits a guy well to me she better learn how to take a hit back. but that is my opionion, so anyone can thumb me down,
