I have a daughter, 24, and son, 27. I used to be a very strict mom, I was the law, and I belived in strict discipline, punishments and spanking. I believe I did my duty, my daughter is a biochemist and my son is an engineer with post-graduation. But neither likes me, both are kinda resentful and in their opinion I was everything a parent should not be. My husband, who also was strict but not as much as me, died, and, like me, left a strong resentment. Today my kids don't hug or kiss me, show no love, don't pretend they like me, but anyway help me. I have health issues and live w/ my daughter in her apartment, but she doesn't accept my authority any more, she doesn't even bother to ask my opinion. She lets me live there, I don't contribute a cent, but she simply doesn't care about what I think. The same is true of my son, he helps me w/ money, but that's all. They have different opinions and principles, when I die I won't leave good memories. This bothers me

Ok so this is my problem. I have been dating my neighbour for 5 months now and we get along great! I moved back home from another city 2 weeks before he moved in beside me. I saw him and was attracted to him right away. We spent a tuesday night together and havent been apart ever since. Everything in this relationship has moved very quickly. I am now living with him and we talk about our future often. He is very caring, genuine, trustworthy, attractive, passionate and anything else you could possibly think of. He has a great job, great family, beautiful house, and would be a wonderful father. The first 3 months of our relationship were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I honestly have never been so happy. He is very funny and made me laugh all the time. But lately I am questioning my feelings ALOT. Every move he makes I analyze. I think I am convincing myself that I do not love him anymore. I still enjoy spending time with him. I still enjoy cooking him dinners, surprising him by cleaning the house, going away on weeekends with him, having sex etc...I am just so scared that the only reason I am with him is for the materialistic stuff. I ask myself this and its not like I need the things he has, I have that next door but I know that if I spent my life with him I would have a very secure future.

He is the first guy I have ever trusted. I am not jealous of him and that seems to throw me off. (Its wierd cause i feel like my lack of jealousy and my amount of trust leads me to believe that if I dont think of him with other girls when I must not care about him?) All of my past relationships were drama filled and emotionally abusive. Finally I met a nice guy that I know will never hurt me and I feel like I dont love him. Is it maybe cause I have never felt love before and I have only felt "fantasy" with the jerks I wanted to spend my life with? I dont want want to be with anyone else. I want to love him like I felt it before. I want to cherish him and feel confident that I can marry him and be happy. Is it because he is a "nice guy"?

For starter's, I'm 15. My parent's favorite thing to do is look me up via Google. By doing this, they've already found one of my old blogs that I no longer use and they've found out that a couple of my good friends are lesbians. I am a lesbian and I don't want my parents to know this yet. I have a MySpace, but instead of using my real name, I made up a fake one, I changed the state I live in, and I'm really careful about deleting the history when I'm done checking it. On MySpace, under "orrentation," I marked "lesbian" because that's true. (My friends all know I'm a lesbian, and people who don't find out when they ask and I tell them. They're all very acceptive of it.) My mom has also been known to check my email when I was in bed (but I have recently changed accounts AND passwords).

Is there some way that I can tell them I want privacy? Or, being 15, is that asking too much?

My BF broke up with me last week & I'm still trying to figure out his reason why. He had other women calling his phone, so he decided to put a lock on it & when I looked at it he had a fit because the thought I was going to call the number back. He later packed up half of his cloths & said he was going to stay at his moms but I was suspicious, so I later went over to his friends house where he was watching the game & saw him with some girl so I followed them & he spotted me. He in turn dumped me because he said I wasn't trustworthy. I lied at first about following him because I wanted to confront him face to face not over the phone. I later admitted to it & he said he couldn't be with a liar. I let him move in & he wasn't paying any bills & he was still talking to other women on the phone. He collected a number on New Years Eve that I threw away. Why'd he leave me & what did I do wrong?

I know I'm not alone on this one. Have any of you mistakened incredible, mind blowing, no holds barred, orgasmic, toe curling, eye rolling, savage beast satisfying, trade it all for, slap your mama sex; for love? Theres this guy who I seem to like and he liked me back. But the problem is we never really were together. This is a girl who went with her mother to try on wedding dresses when she was 14 years old. Her every thought has been how to get a man and marry him right after college graduation. Well, she did it. Graduation is May 07 and the wedding is in August.

The friends she has are college kids with no money and jobs out of state, yet she expects them to drop their lives to attend every event, to fork over hundreds of dollars for their dresses, give her gifts at every shower and make choices of either paying rent or attending her Queen for Day ceremony.
