I'm talking to this woman through email, never met her. I have to walk with the aid of a cane I haven't told her this yet. Should I tell her this in person or email? I don't want to drive her away. Not sure if this is a big deal or not. Would you like to know before you met a guy you were talking to, or dose this really matter?

I'm worried that your apprehension to tell her may mean you have some insecurities about it. Don't.

I would want to know, and I think you should tell her by mail seeing as this how you guys have been communicating.

You would not like to see her surprised reaction when and if you guys decide to meet....not saying that she would be put off by it, but surprise in the fact that you never brought that up.

If your cane usage drives her away, then she wasn't worth dealing with in the first place.

Be comfortable being who you are. And if she can't accept the cane, well its better to know sooner than later.

Good Luck! You seem super sweet.

I would tell her either way. I would not say "hey BTW I walk with the aid of a cane" but more suttle ie " I was looking at buying a new walking stick, this one is getting worn out" If you make it a big deal chances are she'll respond to it as if it was, and really it is not. I personal dont care if he has one or not but Im not big on surprizes. I would like to know anything that may cause him to be uncomfortable, after all, part of a relationship is communication and knowing you can be comfortable around someone.

If you feel the relationship is going to become serious, then yes, you should tell her. If she really likes you, this shouldn't be a problem. Now, if you keep it from her for too long, she may feel hurt that you didn't tell her. I would have no problem with it, as long as the person I was with was up front about it.
