my bestfriend is dating this guy i like and i told her i liked him before she asked him out and now hes moving and he doesnt know how i feel but im afraid if i tell him my bestfriend will be mad

am in love with this wonderful man, but he still works for his ex-fiance's father, and with her (she works up in the office, he runs the business). She just got married last march, and we are getting married next June but I am still bothered by it. they broke off their engagement over 2 years ago, but they have gotten back together 3 times since then, with her switching back from her (now) husband and him (with the last "break up" in dec of 2004). He swears that there is nothing between and that "they are better friends then they were ever lovers" but the fact is that he was with her for over 3 1/2 years and she is always calling him. This didn't used to bother me but I have caught him lying about her several times and he is extremely protective of his phone-doesn't let me even touch it. He also will not talk to her in front of me, which if she really is "just calling about work" i don't really understand what the problem is?
any opinions???

My husband's birthday was last week and I threw him a party, bought him a PS2, an MP3 player, and several games. My birthday is next week and I know he is going to forget it. He has never done anything nice for me really and it hurts my feelings. I don't feel like I should have to remind him of when my birthday is. I wonder if I should just go out without letting him know or just act like it's just another day or what.

Hi there ! My friend is a very shy person and gets humilated if says anything.This is because the pitch of her voice is very low.Though, she shouts all the time when she's between friends.I just want to help her and tell her a few tricks how to make people shut their mouths when they are humilating you infront of anyone .Although , I can fight back for her but she somehow stops me.People usually make fun of her calling her names or finding faults even if they are not.So, all I ask is for some smart, witty replies that can truly help. There is a guy I really like and he has made it clear that he likes me. We are really busy in our careers so we have to just find time whenever to see each other. However, after we have spent alot of time together and everything has gone great, he just kind of disappears for a week or so. there is this girl that i hang out with quiet frequently, and we do stuff together all the time. We are in a friendship relationship. But I'm in love with her. What if I tell her straight up, I don't want out friendship to become awkward if she doesn't feel the same.

I separated from my wife 2 years ago. Our child is now in daycare (4 years old) and on the days when I pick him up (about 1/2 the time) he's upset and doesn't want to come with me. He says "No! I didn't want YOU to pick me up, I wanted MOMMY!!" This has subsided considerably since I've worked with the teacher. I've provided her with a calendar and asked if she could let my child know who's coming to pick him up. I think part of the problem is that he doesn't like surprises.

I've also tried talking with him about it. Things are much better now - but occasionally the teacher will forget to remind him / or the schedule will change and he'll be upset when I pick him up. I can't help but wonder why he gets so upset. Once he gets over the initial feeling he seems to be fine and things are back to normal.

I see guys and gals playing all kinds of games with eachother. I'm not as aware of the games the women feel they have to play. The guys seem to be acting disinterested, married, or like a jerk. Guys aren't supposed to seem available on weekends after the 1st date, they're not supposed to call for a certain amount of time after a date, etc.......Bleh!!!! I understand that people are going to behave differently and have different expectations during dating, but I'm not up for games. How does this change the pool of women that would consider "dating" me?

We went out for 6 years and it was true love, it came to engagement at one point but we were young. Everything was great and all we did was talk about the future, kids, my job, marriage, where we want to live. I am graduating this may and it was all going according to plan my job is lined up we had a great summer, best one yet and then we had problems. Her schedule put stress on our relationship and everything fell apart. She claims to feel the same about me but needs space. Her reason, because she feels different when were hanging out and cant be happy when we hang out. After fighting it for 3 months, i let her go. We still talk on the phone but i have made a decision even if she comes back im done.

The break up happened sunday. Whats weird is i freaked out for the first 3 months but this time i feel relieved and excited to meet someone new. She called me cried saying i hope you take me back when i am ready. Im afraid if i do take her back it will never be the same.
