It's all scientific. There are only a few days a month when a woman can conceive. These days are right before the menstrual period begins when then egg is getting ready to attach to the wall of the uterus and grow there. If the egg is not fertilized during this time the Menstrual period begins and washes it away.
A womans uterus has an opening in the bottom of it similar to that of a mouth. When a man and woman have sexual intercourse and the man achieves orgasm before the woman, the sperm creates a pool at the mouth of the uterus. Then when the woman achieves orgasm the uterus dips down with each muscle contraction and picks up sperm. This dramatically increases the chances that she will concieve. Pretty good engineering made it so that when a woman is the most fertile, she is the most interested in sex.

I do the same thing. Within a couple of days before my menses, I am ready, show me the love baby! I am not sure but I think it is because the progesterone is peaking then drops dramatically causing the sexual urge. Its actually too late in your cycle to concieve just before your period.

That's funny you ask. My husband and I were talking about this just last night. It's "Hormones". During ovulation something is set off to make a women want to make love. I know I do and I've had no problems yet!

Sometimes it doesn't matter WHAT time of the month., but hormone levels are involved. Men have hormones too that fluctuate and they need to take care of that part of themselves just as women do

Ummm...I don't. I usually do right towards the END of that time of the month. It's a hormonal thing, I suppose.

I believe she has a good chance of getting pregnant at the end of the period so maybe she gets hornier around that time

Besides ovulation, they know they cant really do it during their time so they get as much as possible before,or get it one last time
