My flatmate is moving out of the falt next week as she is buying her own house. I've only lived in the flat since sept but have gotten on really well with her. she is still going to be in the same town so we will still see each other but i want to do something special to say thanks 4 being a great flatmate/ good luck etc etc. any ideas?

i know that we cant aford it right now, because i dont have a job, but my boy friend works at speedy lube. if i wait to get a desent job, and save for a house. all be to old to have children, theres this other guy that likes me but i dont really like him that way, but he has more money than my boy friend does,and his family is well off. should i go with him. are should i just stick with my boy friend now i no it would be hard but the wellfare system would help me out if we wanted to have a baby wouldint they pay for the doctor bills and stuff, because i dont think my boy friend could make that kind of money puting the oil in cars.

my guy friend told me in a round about way that he likes me, i pretended not to understand, cos i only like him as a friend, and i dont want to hurt him or lose him as a friend...but now what do i do, we've always been kinda flirty with each other but in a jokey way (or so i thought). i dont want to lead him on though....any advice??

In HS whenever I walked past a group of guys they would say something or throw paper or snigger etc. I thought that people would be more mature now that I am in college. However yesterday I was walking home at 18.30 and there weren't many people around . Two guys were coming towards me ansd I wasn't paying attn. as I was looking at my ipod. 1 of them put of his hand as if looking for me to hi-5 him or something so I just ignored him and then they both started laughing and calling me a sap. I'm sick of this. Also peole walk into me on the street and if the sidewalk is narrow then I'm the one who usually has to move. Anyway I'm ranting but I'm tired of guys treating me like this . They either ignore me or act like this. I 'm not ugly or anything but I am very shy. Why do they treat me like this?

i know this guy i.ve only known him for 6 months from where i work. he has a sister that he talks about all the time. they are 1yr apart. when he talks to her on the phone he calls her baby, babe, shug, tells her shes beautiful and other things you would tell or call your spouse or girlfriend. hes told me that they've shared apartments together motels together for weeks at the time they buy furniture, t.v's and other things like that together. when he buys clothes jeans for example hes told me himself hes asked his sister do they make his *** look good. now i have a sister myself who i love but i guess not as much as this guy. is his relationship with his sister normal. i need to know cause if it is i guess im the strange one.

We live in North Carolina, USA. His mother has had temporary custody for 2 years and he and his estranged wife have had supervised visits. He's done everything the judge ordered but his lawyer refuses to have another custody case date set, because his mother has been going behind his back and telling the lawyer that he's not ready and that he doesn't spend time with his daughter.

It's a lie because he tries to spend time with her all of the time and she makes up excuses! And it's been 2 years of the lawyer bullsh*tting him and now the man refuses to set a date and says he's going to quit the case. It seems like everyone is against him! He is 26, has a steady job, yet his mother claims that he is not ready because his "House is falling apart". Yeah, right. The water heater broke and he had it fixed immediately! So what if he lives in an aging trailer? Plus his mother tells everyone he doesn't spend time with his daughter, but it's a lie. When he tries, she makes up excuses constantly! What can we do? Do any fathers have experience with this?

My father suffered a stroke and is now paralized. My siblings and I decided to place him in a rehabilitation therapy home to live out his life. We visit him. But, all he argues about is his finances.He wants to keep his money, but he looses it or gives it away to people we dont know. He suffers from dimensia. It has been very difficult for me because I have been the one to handle all his life issues since his stroke. Is there anyone out there that has a similar situation? How can I handle my elderly father to get through his life? without me going crazy at the same time?
