in my experience, good looking men always go for the pretty girls when dating Every man wants a hottie on their are at parties, etc
BUT when it comes to settling down and making a commitment, good looking men usually look for a woman more suited to them, someone who would be a great mother, a person who will intellectually and romantically stimulate him. a pretty face will only keep a man happy for so long because eventually that face will fade. When a man finds a loving, motherly, confident, woman.....that is the woman he will want beside him forever because those qualities never fade. Think of it this way......Ben Afleck had JLo (a hottie) but when it came time to settle down and raise a family.....he chose Jennifer Garner (Cute, smart, loving, etc) Get It?

Guys can be just as self consinous as girls in this day and age. If the man seems confident and has a good posture you are likly to find that they are more likly goin to expect some beutiful blond or somethin stupid like that. On the other hand if these qualitys are not there then it will be more like an accepting personality than a more than acceptable look.
Most guys cant resist a good sence of humor and an accertive girl more.

That depends on the man's definition of "pretty".I have seen many
handsome fellas with less than attractive women!Relationships shouldn't be based on looks , they usually won't last if they are . Anyways, if a guy doesn't think your'e pretty, he's probably not gonna change his mind , and you should find one who loves you for what's on the inside ,not some shallow jerk who wants a trophy!

Usually good looking men go after pretty men! They just kind of go together! Kind of like Ken and Barbie! But sometimes really good looking men go after the not so fortunate pretty girls because it makes them feel superior. They know they look good and they think that their ugly g/f cant find anyone better so they will stick around no matter what crap he puts her through

I think only a shallow good-looker would wanna 'demand' for another good-looker. My boyfriend is drop dead gorgeous and I am just a plain jane. He fell in love with me coz I'm not as what he'd put it as 'high maintanence' and that i am easy to talk to and very down to earth. And, NO i cant cook ;)

Only half right, they want the pretty ones until they want to settle down & not be bothered by other guys, then they don't really mind the average looking.

We tend to be attracted to those that we feel fits the image we have of ourselves....whether that's good looking or not could be open to debate though....& whether we get what we aim for is another question entirely....
