I live in NY and my boyfriend of almost two years has moved to Georgia, a better job opportunity. He wants me to move with him, I have a 6 year old daughter, not by him, and I am used to the city life, but I don't want to lose him. I am willing to move out there but I won't have anyone but him. Is there anything about Atlanta that I should know? Should I up and leave New York with my daughter to be with my man? Is there anyone out that that can offer some feedback as far as the best jobs, etc.? Please help!!!

I've been seeing someone for almost a year now. My divorce is in the works now. We haven't been to court yet. Will this hurt my case? While I was with my soon to be ex I found out he had been cheating and had a child with someone else that was about 3yrs old when I found out.

I'm emailing this girl back and forth on a dating site and I really like her so far. She's been sending me very long emails too so I think the feeling is mutual so far. My question is, what new questions should I ask her now? We've discussed our siblings, college, surgeries we've had. work, vacations, religion, where we lived in our lives, birth place, that kind of stuff.

Well the last email I sent when we were talking about surgeries we've had, she said she didn't have any others, and I briefly said I had one last summer of a circumcision. And then moved on with three more paragraphs on a different subject.

She was on last night (for a few minutes) and didn't reply. Do you think the circumcision thing turned her off? Or did she just not have time to reply last night? I know my last email it took me a day to reply from when she sent her email so I'll just wait. Maybe she was tired. We've been talking a lot so I can't imagine her just stopping just like that.

What do you think?

my boyfriend continues to be "single" on myspace and hi5 even though I have talk to him about how I feel. He says that he has not updated either in awhile but I see that he has logged on and that is good enough for me for him to change it. AM I MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING? HOW WOULD YOU DEAL WITH IT?

why do some off them take this as an excuse to stop paying money for THEIR KIDS because they have new partners & familys
I have seen this from both sides my partner off 20 yrs left me with his 2 sons he thinks he shouldn't pay for them because they are over 16 do you stop being a parent when your child reaches 16
my fiance has 2 daughters & he thinks because his ex is getting benifits his payments should be lower & he is also paying bills in his new home
I disagree with both off them they should both support their kids are guys just selfish

I have been in two relationships so far and the second one is still going on. My first gf kinda drifted away from me by avoiding me because she kinda lost the feel for it. But somehow she was deeply in love with me from the start. The second girl has also liked me for a long time and we just got together. However she is also slowly avoiding me (*or i just feel it that way beacause of the first girl). What should i do.....please help me.

Age differences can be less dramatic as we age. But in a younger man older woman relationship, what really defines the "older woman?". I have seen some articles stating anything 10 year or more. Say the woman is 53, and the man is 44, doesn't seem to be a big deal, than say a 43 year old woman and a 26 year old man. I would say that it depends on the people, and other factors..but after age 35, for the woman to be 10 or 15 years older is okay.

Me and my ex girlfriend of 3 years split up for a few months we recently started talking again. And we both still care deeply about each other and we decided to hang out again and see where it takes us. Well we hung out and it seems that the feelings came back immediately. The second day we hung out we kissed it was the best thing since we split up that has happened to me. My Question is should I try getting back with her and should I let things just happen or should I slow it down.

I love her so much i would do anything for her we had talked about getting married before and eveything. I believe that she is my true love she was free and came back.

Ive known this friend quite closely for over a year (i have a b/f so this is purely platonic). After having quite a serious argument and not talking for about 2 months, i started talking to him again to see what happens, and this is what he said to me:

He kept saying that "a sequence of events had already begun which is out of his control, but he is doing his best to stop it, because if it happens, i will not be grateful"
and then i said that i didnt want to talk to him (out of anger) and he replied "when the sequence of events has reached its climax, thats the last thing you would want to do"

So, what could this mean?

It sounded like a threat to me, but i confronted him and he kept saying it was not a threat at all - but he hesitates to say what he meant by saying things like "forget it" or "doesnt matter". And he doesnt seem like the type to threat at all - i think he was holding back something because he said "its best that you dont know" - and then i just left it.

Everyone always says their trying to make their parents proud of them but is anyone proud of the things your parents have done?
My mum has decided to take a degree in child care and my dad has been doing up our house for 6 years and is nearly finished, he works really hard but still works on the house and it looks amazing now. Im really proud of them both!
Is there something that you are really proud of that your parents have done?
