I am proud of them both for everything they have acheived in life, for raising two great kids, for having a beautiful house they worked hard for, for running a family business AND working other jobs too, more than anything I am proud they stayed together in a world today where divorce is so easy - there were times when I think they could have thrown the proverbial towel in but they didn't - aqnd they love eachother stupidly and are happy as sandbugs!! its Brilliant!!

Very proud of my folks. They are the most selfless people I've ever met and are so warm and welcoming. My dad has worked two jobs throughout his life and my mum has worked too, not to make ends meet, but so that my brother and I could have everything that they never did. Unfortunately we lost my brother ten years ago this april and the way that they both dealt with that has made me so proud of them. They threw themselves into charity work and educating others so that no-one else would have to go through the same pain that we did. They are my best friends and without them I would be nothing......i've made myself all emotional now!

I am proud of my mom for pretty much everything she does. Right after she had my younger brother, she had a tumor on her heart. She almost died having it removed. Several weeks later, she went back to work. My mom works two part time jobs which do not pay very well because she wants the best for me, my sister, and my brothers. She is also very smart. She graduated from college valedictorian as a Chemistry major. She is such a hard worker and she always put everyone else before herself.

I'm very proud of my parents. They have had some hard times, lost two babies in late pregnancy, redundancy, dad has had (and thankfully survived) cancer, and throughout it, all my brother and I ever saw was love. They never ever argued in front or in earshot of us. Throughout their lives they have worked hard to help put my brother and myself through university and even though they are now retired they still work extremely hard looking after my children when I work (I am a public health nurse) and caring for my elderly grandmother. In short I am proud of their selflessness, they put others' needs before their own and I hope that I am even half as considerate as them.

Yes, I am very proud of my dad. He is clever, funny and a great dad and grandad. He always helps me out whether it be emotionally, practically and financially. He is so much fun with his four grandkids and although he always likes to win at everything he even loses games on purpose so they can win!
He is recently retired after working his *** off for years and pretty much raising me and annoying little sis alone, so now he's starting to enjoy a bit of free time and relaxation.
Me and sister very lucky and proud to call him Dad.

I'm proud of my parents for lots of reasons. The main reason is that they've stayed married for 33 years and shown my brother and I that you can have a good, long and happy marriage no matter what obstacles life throws at you. It takes effort, but it can be done.

I am proud of my dad, he is a journalist for the local rag but after winning some kind of british journalist of the year award in 198? he was offered the opportunity to travel the world and move on to much better things. He turned it down to stay with me and my mum. He has been my best mate for ever and I am glad he is around for my kids to enjoy him. Woohoo for my dad!!!

I'm very very proud of my parents for raising me the right way. I'm proud of them for bringing up 7 stable and quality children while both working. I'm also proud of them for taking time for themselves to travel now that all of their children are gone.
