my boyfriend continues to be "single" on myspace and hi5 even though I have talk to him about how I feel. He says that he has not updated either in awhile but I see that he has logged on and that is good enough for me for him to change it. AM I MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING? HOW WOULD YOU DEAL WITH IT?

I'd be more concerned about what he is doing on myspace and hi5. Is he flirting or leaving suggestive messages or trying to meet someone. If no, then you're worrying over nothing. It would be nice if he changed it. It would show respect to you and the relationship.

No. Your in the right i suppose. If you have a problem with it and its really bothering you, then I think he should oblige. Honestly, its not as big a deal as it seems. There are couples all the time that have themselves listed as single. But i guess its cause they're okay with it. I changed my thing to In a Relationship on my own. Its different with many people.

I would feel the same way. You have to be honest even if it is on myspace or any of those. He obviously wants people(girls) to think he is single so he can chat them up. You should check his messages on myspace...se if he has any convos adn what they are like... just remember he can delet those . But it sounds to me like he is trying to hid you from the rest of the world so he can be essentially "single " online.

Maybe he's just lazy or doesn't think myspace is a big deal.
I don't know, if it bothers you that much then he should change it, unless he's trying to use it to pick up other girls behind your back.

ya I wouldn't make a big deal about it I mean it is just MYSPACE! because if you have talked to him about it and still hasn't changed it then I think yopur fine he just doesn't want to change it.

explain to him that you're not trying to make a big deal out of something small, but that it really bothers you because it makes you feel like he doesn't totally want to commit (or whatever it is that it makes you feel). just be patient with him and don't make him feel like it's an attack!
