If both said colleagues have happy, secure marriages, I don't see why they couldn't have a Platonic working relationship. It depends on the integrity and morals of the people as to whether or not it would result in an affair. There are such things as friend of the opposite sex and self control.

We can have platonic relationship with anyone in our lives, be it friends, colleagues or whatever. The main thing here is self control, love and respect for each other. You don't call a relationship "platonic" once sex is involved as it has already turned into an "affair".

Married colleagues can have platonic relationships with coworkers with whom they spend a lot of time. Platonic relationship do not necessary end up in affairs with individuals that value their spouse, job, and reputation. The most intelligent decision is to resist the temptation and work in your relationship that you have at home. Having these thoughts only reflect a weak marriage at home. Remember that good marriages are made with communication, honesty, sensitivity, respect and appreciation of each other.

Of course you can have a platonic relationship !! It would only lead into an affair if you let it!! Always remember this: Do unto others as you would have done to you!

Very good question.
Yes unless they are very determine to be just good friends. As long as sex is in. Then they be shagging everytime they get together. You want to maintain that relationship for long, keep sex at bay.
Of course unless they are both very open and clear. Sex can then happen once in a while. Then it will be sex for pleasure basically to satisfy the crave you want from the othe party.
