in a longterm relationship how do you get yourself out of the funk? I am the g/f of a stressed out b/f. He has major finacial stress from his previous marriage that just caught up with him. IRS, my problem is that he is shutting me out and distancing himself from me. We have been going to couples therapy since Sept06. He never wants to talk about the problems there. From his last outburst in thereapy this past Saturday I feel he more worried about the opinon of the therapist than finding solutions to our relationship problems that arise. How do I draw him out? He blows up & "leaves me" when I try to draw him out with specific questions. He fixed one major problem (his family). He had to give up his "best friend" his exwife (b/c he kept naked pics of her! & he would help her but NOT me with car trouble etc) I told him it's either me or her. Can't make two women happy, chose which woman. He made me give up my friends, my friendshilp with my ex...first. He says he misses his ex. Blames me

okay, i have aways tried to push being raped out of my mind. it happened when i was only 8 years old. at school the other day these boys were messing around and talking about me being a **** (everyone knew they were only joking). and then one of them said "oh, dont joke around. we all know she doesn't get any." (still joking) and then someone brought up virginity and it braught back scary memories (this is the middle of my algebra class) and i started crying. now they all think theres something wrong with me (not a making fun of me way). how do i tell them what was really wrong and how can i get this out of my head? i dont want to talk to an adult because its kind of embarrassing. im embarrasses writing this. and my uncle did it to me, thats even worse. even if i didnt want to it, does this mean im not a virgin anymore? please help me.

Hi.
I really like this girl that i know. I like everything about here, personality, amazing beauty and brains. She doesnt have a boyfriend and dont know why not because she should have loads of guys all over her. Anyway...I want to know how i should ask her out. i am really shy and not too confident and we tend to talk alot online. i get the impression that she likes me but i have had bad times with girls so i aint gonna be too sure.

Went out with a guy years ago, I finished it and we stayed close friends. He has always told me he would still like to be my bf but it never felt right for me at the time. He told me he had to move on and has been seeing a girl for a few years and I have a bf. It has occured to me that I really miss him. Never felt this emotional connection with anyone else. Do I just want what I can't have?

I go with the norm? Should I go with the sweet little thing I am in school. It depends on who I want to attract, I guess. What do you think?

We were dating for about 5 months, and then we kinda just stopped. I called it off last week bcuz my ex seemed to not have time for me. And I was thinking that it would be like every other time we broke up, we'd get right back together... or at least stayed close friend, because we are/were like best friends before the last couple of weeks. but since then things haven't really gotten better. It's really really hard for me, and I don't know if I should lose my pride, and keep trying to get back together... or just wait and see what happens. My ex "forced themself" to move on, as to not get hurt... and I don't know if the reason we're not talking as much is to make it easier on my ex to move on... or if it's just completely over friendship and all... I really don't want to stop trying, if that's what i need to do to fix it... but I don't want to be a pest either.

what was it? and would it have been justifiable? I'm asking b/c my friend wants to get revenge on his ex girlfriend and i want him to reconsider! because it will probably start a vicious circle or something.

Especially any guys who know how guys respond when being asked out...

So I went up to a guy, and directly asked him out by saying "Do You Want To Go to the Movies?"

He said... "...When?"

I Said... "This weekend."

He said... "I'll have to check my work schedule, but I'll talk to you tomorrow."

So to me, that wasn't directly an answer, so I don't know if he wants to or not... Can someone please clarify it?

I have been with my spouse for nearly 10 years now. When we first got together I was more attracted to his outgoing personilty and easy-going manner than I was to him sexually or physically. I have a hard time in our sex life, which has always been VERY low, because I've never really felt a physical connection with him. Do you think such things can grow over time? We are great with one another in every other way. I just don't feel fireworks with him. Is this just normal after being with someone for a while? We did have sex a lot in the beginning... but I think that's just because things were new.

I know that this is a rhetorical question...of course it isn't. But why not? I have been on this thing religiously searching for answers for my new marriage. My husband cheated on me some months ago (we've only been married six months). He confessed (after I hounded him for a confession because I knew something wasn't right and he said he didn't cheat physically, but it was with someone that he's known for 30+ years and he left her for me) and since then apologized and went to counseling. However, as I stated on yesterday, I just found out a couple of days ago that the woman is still calling. I AM LIVID beyond imagination. I am a Christian and I know that two wrongs don't make anything right...but it hurts so bad. We don't have sex and what's even more hurtful is now I'm pregnant...I can feel myself losing myself because my husband has no idea the torment that I live in. I feel trapped to a certain extent and not sure if I want a divorce or not. I don't know what to do.

her to wake me at 5.30am this morning. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE!!), i wrote a note saying "please wake me at 5.30am" and i left it on her bedside cabinet. I woke up this morning and to my horror saw that it was 9.10am. I was just about to go downstairs and confront her as to why she never woke me when i spotted a note on my bedside cabinet which read " its 5.30am. Wake up"
Was this fair?

there is a guy at school that is really cute, I can be myself around him and everything, and I know that he likes me back, I caught him telling someone(not on purpose though, I just happened to turn around as he was pointing to me telling someone that he loves me) and last night he told me that he got a girlfriend from the next town over that he takes karate with(he's a black belt xD) and that he has a first date with her. I never relized how much I care about him and my feelings toward him until he got a girlfriend. So I emailed him telling him my feelings toward him and that I don't want him to dump the girl or anything, I just wanted to let him kno how I feel. Is there anything else I can do besides be myself to win his heart?? Oh, by the way we are both 14, and don't tell me I'm to young for guys and what not, you can have love no matter how old you are and I love him.

I am in charge of the finances at home and my husband always says he knows where his "place" is, because I control the money and also make more money than him. I feel awful when he says that, and I really don't know what to do. Sometimes I hate the fact that I am in charge of the finances, he doesn't want to take them over because he claims he isn't any good at them. Any suggestions on how to deal with this???

Just wondering what your opinion is.
