does anyone know any good conversation starters with a guy...i normally have no problem finding things to talk about but for some reason i cant think of anything. I have a class with him and we have never talked and i want to try to get to know him...so what is a good way to break the ice??

How about help with your homework! Even if you are brilliant academically you could still need help once. That's what I would do if I was in your situation or maybe if your class is at the end of the day , you find yourself ready for a refreshing ice cold coke and you invite him along. If these two tactics don't seem good enough for you how about "borrowing a pen from him or etc.
If you think he likes you then it would be easier ,however, I get the feeling your not sure so these ideas would be good for starters.
Give it a try, it will be worth it and fun!

If he is wearing a sports hat or shirt (and you know something about the sport) make a comment about it and start talking about the sport. Pick mutual topics that you can both talk about. How hard that reading was... maybe we can work together on it next time.... Man I missed those notes today, she talked way too fast, can I borrow yours and then met up later to give you your notebook back? Good luck!

Find out something he likes such cars or football/soccer etc. Then use that to break the ice.
or just walk up to him and say "Tell me something interesting about yourself"

Something simple...Admire his shirt or something. Something that will at the very least let him know you're alive. Then slowly start talking to him more.

usually guys like talking about themselves. ask him if he likes a certian band or if he has seen a certian movie..
