If your an individual at all, I think you should know the answer to this question. True friends will be your friends no matter what!!!
Smoking weed is a personal choice, that's my opinion and you don't say how old you are either. Make sure you weigh in all of the pros and cons. If your friends choose to dis you cuz you don't want to smoke weed, then you can decide whether or not to be around them anymore. If you want to smoke it because you have decided that's something you want to try, do it because you made the choice, not because someone made it for you.

My daughter, who is 15, doesn't swear, smoke cigs or pot, doesn't do anything that is the rage among teens. She has NO problems with it and neither do her friends. She has put her foot down and told ALL her friends that she would hate to lose their friendships BUT she will not sacrifice her morals to accepted in any group. My daughter is strait up Christian and will not give in to any one. My daughter is one of the popular people BECAUSE she took a stand and has stuck to her guns. Did she lose some friends...yes she did, and she had friends who knew her since kindergarten, but for her, well she was true to herself and her own conscious...and for every one she lost, she literally gained 3 new ones who respected her wishes. I am sooo very proud of her. If you don't want to smoke pot, don't and don't let idle threats make you. You have to live with the consequences of life. Not only that, but if you or anyone you are with gets caught by a cop, you're still guilty...by association. And that goes which ever way you can take it. Some people may not want to get to know you because you hang out with people who do pot or worse. Good luck with this one, and hopefully things will work out for you. Just be true to yourself.

Drugs are bad mmmmmkay! I got a brother in law that dose **** like that and has been in jail a lot since I have known him. Where drugs lead you is on the streets that is where his big *** is right now. He would steal from his own friends and family for drugs. He already almost got me and my husband and my child killed because he ran with the wrong friends. So now when some one dose drugs they get nothing from me not even a ride home. If they even have a home. Sounds sad but they had a choice to be that way. Say no for your life.

If ever there was a question begging for a "no" answer, yours is it.
Since this is a free country (so far), and I am entitled to my opinion whether anybody likes it or not, I just want to say I have nothing but fond memories of having a great time with my friends back in high school doing all sorts of things. Wine, weed, you name it, we did it. We had fun, nobody got hurt. So there.

If you've been friends since pre-k, then you should mean more than that to them. And if you had a choice between losing the "friends" or smoking weed, I'd say pick losing the friends.

If your friends don't want to be your friend because you choose not to pollute your body and cloud your mind then it sounds like you need better friends anyways. I have never in my life smoked or drank alcohol and MY friends have supported me 100%
You should hang out with more people that share the same view on drugs as you. Don't let anybody bring you down just because they are losers.
That is all.

It is your decision, but if you have to come here looking for advice I think you have already decided. Don't feel that you have to so something simply because your friends are. I was friends with people in high school who smoked occasionally and who smoked reguarly. I chose not to and I am both still friends with these people and very happy I decided not too. Tell your friends that you aren't comfortable and if they pressure you then they aren't really your friends in the first place.

NEVER EVER EVER do something because ur friends do it. Once you've read everything you possibly can about weed, how its made, the different types, the side effects, the long term effects and you think you can handle it. You think you can handle the addictiveness. THEN AND ONLY THEN ....smoke a joint occaitionaly or cook with it for a healthier alternative. If your friends ditch u because of it they are losers, stoners and they aren't your friends and most of all they dont respect marijuana and its effects.

Friendship is suppose to be unconditional. They smoke weed you don't. Are you less loyal or devoted to the friendship because you don't smoke weed? I doesn't matter if you guys shared the same crib the day you were born.
The network of friends I have, we all smoke cigars and one of our buddies doesn't, but he still hangs out with us at a cigar lounge. It is not his thing, but he is our friend and we respect his choice to not smoke a cigar. His company is what's important.
If your so-called friends can't respect that, who needs them?

Coming from an off again on again smoker myself don't be pressured into smoking pot. Just because your friends do it doesn't mean you have to. If they have a problem with you saying no then they are not real friends anyway.
