I i like this girl and i was able to get an assigned seat next to her
but we do not know each other
and we are both shy
and althoug i look calm, whenever i talk to her, i get nervous,

i know i have to talk to her regularly for her to day yes a dance in one month
that is what i want to do

but how much conversation is enough and how much is too much
and what do i talk to her about?

i want her to know me well enough in a month and become her freind so that asking her does not seem out of the blue.

but i do not want it to seem obvious that i like her till closer to the dance
and i dont want to seem like an idiot

A girl asked me one time, "If we were married, when we get old which one us do you hope would die first."
This is one of those tricky romantic/philosophical questions. I know the preffered answer that a woman asking the question would want to hear. I just want to hear how everyone else would answer.

I had no clue she wanted me to mop her floors, dust her do-dads. HOWEVER i always was nice, whenever we ate over i helped with the dishes. I use her washer and drier. ONe night she comes home (just about thirty minutes after I had). I was outside with my husband working on my mother in law's sister's truck, and so we go inside. Suddenly she's standing in front of my husband and yelling at him, "BROOKE GOT OFF AT THREE! WHY WASN"T SHE HERE COOKING!" I walk calmly in and ask what was I supposed to cook? She flings out her arms, "ANYTHING!" I had been in town all day, sure i got off at three, but i wasn't home. My father in law tried to run away, my husband left to go over to their house . He was gone for hours. She threw a temper, said all sorts of nasty things to my husband about me, called everyone awful names, and hurt everyone's feelings. All because she wanted the floors moped and things dusted. Happens once a yr. Mental problem? or just a jerk...?

I heard stories of how women in thier late 20s or 30s have trouble finding potential husbands because all the good ones are taken..
is it true? I am 23 yrs old and I don't know what I want to do and what i need to do pay my bills..and I am starting to get worried.
I am not really interested in marriage but I dont want to be single for rest of my life or only get the leftovers when i am late 20s.
or is it something i should not be worried about?
I can even take the married ones too, right?

Hello all. I am pretty inexperienced when it comes to women. I get really nervous and find it hard to get and maintain an erection. Im seeing this wonderful girl at the moment and we are getting serious. I would appreciate any tips on beating the anxiety - what to do, eat etc. Also if the worse comes to the worse and there is no action what do you say? Thanks. Mr. Worried.

I have a question I want to ask him, but I don't know if I should. And it's not a bad question...I just wanna know if he'd date or go out with a shy girl...... Is it a good idea or a bad idea? please help.

(and we work together so it'd kinda be weird.) I want to get to know him better, but as someone I don't work with and as someone I don't know....if that makes any sense......there'd be no pressure on me if we could just carry on a normal conversation.......how should I go about this?

I'm attending the wedding of two Marine Corp. privates tomorrow who have just finished boot camp and are due to be deployed overseas. As one gift, I'm giving them a bottle of very good champayne. However, I want to include champayne glasses. I have a pair that were last used thirty-six years ago toasting my wedding, which ended in divorce. I wanted to pass these glasses on to my daughter, but she has no plans to marry even though she is living with a Marine. Although, this young couple are not related to me, I thought they may enjoy and have better longevity with the glasses than I. Should I give them to the USMC privates or save them for my daughter's wedding? Help. . . the wedding is tomorrow at Noon.

What does anyone think about the fact that society seems to encourage us to focus on our careers in our early 20s and nothing about family? What about people whose greatest desire is to get married and have kids? Nobody around the age of 20 seems to talk about this. It's always 'focus on yourself and your career and family can come later'. It seems as if being a family oriented person is becoming a relic of the past.

so... i'm not the kind of girl who believes in having dating rules, like not liking guys that my friends have liked, etc. so when i broke up with my boyfriend and my best friend decided she couldn't handle hearing about how i was feeling all the time so she quit hanging out with me and ended up dating my boyfriend 2 months later (it's always easier to hang out with the boys like him, they don't talk about their feelings like girls do after a break up), my attitude has been "who am i to tell them who they can/can't date? If they're soulmates then i'm not going to keep them apart, right? but i'm not going to be able to be friends with her anymore." She couldn't figure out why i can't be friends with her anymore after all of that and has cut all ties with me whatsoever, saying she "can't do it anymore". Sometimes I feel like maybe i'm being a little immature about it. What do you think?

Me, personally, I'd put him out the house naked because I'd do a Bernadine from Waiting to Exhale (The Clothes I bought him). I wouldn't even go after her because I find it stupid to fight over any humans affections.
