I haven't spoken to my bio dad in 7yrs. Thanx to the internet I found an adult brother (20) I knew I had all along. Keep in mind, I too am an adult. He,nor his sis knew they had other siblings. After contacting him via e-mail and we talked on the phone, he told our dad (our dad didn't raise me, but did him) that he knew. Then, my bro told our 14yr old sister that he grew up with! She called me and e-mailed, now we talk on a daily basis (it's been 2wks). They still have not told our dad, nor their mom that she now knows and on top of that there are 4 more siblings! He is an adult, so when we meet it is not their business. But her and I have really bonded the last couple of weeks, she's taken it very well and is excited to have a big sis she always wished for! How do we tell our bio dad and her mom so we can meet and talk without hiding it? Her mom has always been very bitter about our dads past and has hid everything trying to pretend it didn't exist. Why do they insist on punishing us?

I have been w/ him 7yrs. No kids, yet. He has always smoked pot and I finally got him to 'quit' (not the 1st time) but now he is addicted to cough syrup w/ codeine. He has been on it for about 6 months. He will go through a bottle in less than 2 days.The pharm. wouldn't refill it, so he got his mom to call her dr. for a prescription. She had no idea. I have talked to him about this ALOT. I don't do any drugs, I drink occasionally and that is it. The codeine makes him lose interest in sex, causing tension. I love him a lot & besides this, he is a good person. He helps out around the house, keeps a good job, doesn't cheat on me, or abuse me or anything like that. But I know this is not good for his health and illegal, what should I do? Ultimatum's only work for a day or two. This morning I took the bottle he got from his Mom's pharmacist and dumped it out. He asked me about it this afternoon, he acknowledges that it was the right thing to do, but I know it's not the end of it.

Would you do this as a freshman in college at 18 years old??

So i have this plan...for over the summer. My friends and i were talking about how much we missed our childhood. And i came up with this idea to play all these kids games over the summer at a local park.

-My plan is to play: Capture the flag - both teams are going to have different colored shirts on right..and instead of tagging people...we would use paint. Fill water balloons and such with paint....and that would show if you got tagged.

-We were also going to play 4-square, parachute, tug of war, a big game of basketball and dodge ball.-

--i haven't really told my friends about this yet....
I'm kind-of embarrassed and feel they might think it's stupid. If you were 18 and a freshman in college would you think this was a stupid idea? Do you think it's a stupid idea? Tell me what you think before i go and tell them....about it

My b/f is nice, doesn't swear and is good tempered the majority of the time but when his parents come round to visit he goes all weird. He finds something to get in a stress with me about like hes lost something and wants to know where it is and he'll start swearing and being rude like 'well you should f***ing well know where it is' and things even in front of our daughter. Why does he act like this when his parents are around?

I've been dating a great guy for close to a year and I know the ring is coming soon. He treats me great, but I don't feel like we connect. We get along great, but aren't able to have long great conversations. There's always been a guy from my past who I've never been over and despite that its been years since we dated, he and I still talk now and then, and he can always bring a smile to my face. Knowing the ring was coming, I went to see the old boyfriend to see how he felt, thinking he would say he has long been over me and that would mean I needed to close that door. Instead he said he still loves me and he wants to be with me. That is what I've wanted for so long. I'm so torn right now. I'm currently with a great guy who treats me great, but the connection and love I have for the old boyfriend is undeniable. I don't want to hurt anyone, but I know I'm going to end up marrying one of them. What is marriage about? My heart picks the old, my head picks the new, what to do?

We went on on our first date and ended up sleeping together. She wanted to hand out the next morning but I couldn't. When I called her weeks later (i know, i know) she was friendly to me, told me she she likes me, but wanted to know why I hadn't called in so long, etc.

But she stood me up for the plans I had made with her on the phone.

This was all a couple months ago. I want to call her and wish her a happy b-day and only that, no date no thing, but I am hesitant to because she stood me up.

Would it be a wussy thing to do?

There's a guy at work I've been flirting with. We joke around, give each other "that look", and he hugged me once but it was a friendly hug and was a little awkward. Well, the other day he jokingly asked me in front of another male coworker, "What does your boyfriend think of you flirting with me?" I didn't know how to answer that and now I'm wondering why he wants to know what my boyfriend thinks. I've asked this question before and all I got was people lecturing me about how I need to stop flirting blah blah blah. Please don't lecture me. EVERY single time my husband gets paid his ex wife is calling/emailing him wanting to know when the child support will be there. He has NEVER missed a payment and the child support goes through the state. It doesn't matter how many times he tells her 'Call the state, they'll know better than I do' - it doesn't stop her from calling again in two weeks. If he doesn't give her the answer she's looking for she withholds contact to his kids. Though I'm aware that she needs to be taken to court for contempt (for withholding the kids from him) what can be done in the meantime while the kids are being used as pawns? Should I just sit back and let her take advantage of my soft spoken husband? Let her play on his emotions time after time or stand up and defend him? I don't want to overstep my bounds - but at the same time I want to take a stand as his wife..I'm so torn. What would ~YOU~ do?

My fiance and I have been together for 5 years. We have 2 beautiful children. Even though we have a ton of common intrests, we are very different. He is sort of "hippy" and I come from a very 'sophisticated' family. I'm always worried about what kind of clothes I have, never causing any 'bad attention' for my family, making sure everyone thinks we have this perfect relationship. I guess I am a perfectionist and it is driving my fiance insane. I wish I could just let go and be free to live a little and not care what everyone else thinks. Sometimes I think about him and his ex wife and get jealous because they look so right together. She has the same free spirit that he does and I would give anything to have that too.

I would appreciate any advice

ok well i told my boyfriend that i loved him, i was very nrevouse and i just had to get it out of me. When i tol d him he kissed me soo passionatly and huged me and i loved it but he did nt say it back. My boyfriend and my anniversary is the 21st and Im not sure what to get him or where to go to get him something. Ok... he dresses kinda ganster and/or he dresses in work clothes like baggy pants, carhart jacket, ext. He LOVES working with cars and stuff like that. Alright theres this girl that I'm really intrested into. but she's kind of weird. Sometimes shes happy to talk to me and hang out with me. Esp. at clubs and stuff where she does want to dance with me and whatnot. other times she ignores me and acts if I'm not even there.
