Are you saying that you never met this person? Now the security is much tighter in Canada than it was, I read in Sundays paper that everyone will need a passport. Not just photo id. If she came to US and you got married then you could go through the immigration process. That's what My husband and I did. It took about a year, but it was worth it. Just make sure not to try to do the papers yourself, have an agency handle them, it is much easier. (And make sure she has a visa to enter this country or it will be impossible)

If this is a long distance relationship it not going to work. Because you need to be dating this person so that way you know that you know she the one. How do you know that she doesn't have a drinking problem or is not responsible paying bills on time, because she said she a good person doesn't me anything. Is she a mail order bride from an other country. Yes you do need to meet her. Your making a big mistake if you don't meet her.

she would have to come here to the US for a while to stay with you .Saving all the tickets etc! She can stay 6 months without a visa . Check with your local Immigration Attorney to get the right info on all of this .
Marry her here in the US . It will be much easier ! A ot easier !

With Immigration it's always tricky !

If you got married in Canada it seems to me that you should be able to stay together being man and wife. Talk to a lawyer. Ask someone in the country where you plan to live.

The answer is yes , however you should not do this if you don't really want to be together , these things can be rather tricky and if all either of you are interested in is getting her to the USA this could complicate matters , so be careful and good luck!

People are different when you meet them. What if you or her don't like each other when you meet in person?
