Its a complicated situation, but I'll try to be concise:

I'm 22yrs old, I've been dating the same girl for 6 years. I am in grad school right now, she is in her first year of teaching high school biology. In September, we got a 1 bedroom apartment together that is located midway between her work and my university. We split rent and all costs of living.

Things haven't been great between us for the past 4 months or so, and I feel that the problems we have are recurring and never get solved. The problems aren't MAJOR, but I'm just not happy in the relationship anymore. I feel as though I can be happier with someone other than her.

I have been wanting to end this for the last month and a half, but I feel financially trapped since she does pay for half the costs of living here. I thought about trying my best to suck it up and wait until the lease is up in September 2007, but I don't think that's going to work very well.

Any thoughts on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

to be "whores" when they like to have sex, but yet men are players? Just because a woman likes to have sex, does not mean that she is a bad person. I myself am a hard working, loving person, and can get along with just about anyone. Just because I want to have sex does not make me a bad person. I have an ex- we fell in love & got engaged- it was a young love for me, but maybe not for him. I was naive to the world and what it was all about. The 2nd half of the relationship was long distance and in my other state (literally) I had a wandering mind and went ahead and partied etc, kissed one guy, slept with another... cheated, is the short story of it... It was the most painful relationship in the WORLD for me to this day- losing the 1 I really feel alive with & knowing that it was me that has something to feel shame over... Being older now and more aware of myself and the world, I have made strides from my pathetic state and have dated and led a normal life- BUT! I cannot move on from him quite yet. I cannot dissever whether it is sole inability to forgive myself or mostly the fact that I would love to see him and show what a beautiful person I've GROWN to be- I know he would love me again if I could have a chance. Been there? What do u make of this? Contact him for closure?

My husband of almost 5 years and I have separated because of my actions and attitude that i seem to have all the time. We have a 8 year old daughter who loves us both and would love for anything more in the world for him to move back with us. We have agreed to take it month by month to see if we can fix this. The
problem is i always have an attitude not so much towards him but at everything, and it seems like he is just the one that gets the full effect of it. I need to know how to make it better and how to prove to him I can change for him and not do everything that has happened in the past happen again. I was married once before and my first husband put me through hell by cheating and hitting me. Here lately I find my self doing the same things he did to me to my new husband. Not the cheating but the hitting and the putting down. How does someone put the past in the past and not bring it up anymore?

Well having turned 22 I thought figuring men would be easier from now on!! So here's the problem......

I recently spent the weekend with the most fab bloke who's a friend of a friend from her home town, we went out and had a few drinks watched a football match and during half time he kissed me on the lips to which I was slightly dumbfounded and he said he liked me, my mother then called and he asked to talk to her so I let him talk to her for a bit. After the football we met up with some of his friends who he introduced me to and we went for a drink the whole time he held my hand and made sure I was ok. We then spent the night at his watching movies and then some more kissing. I went back home the next day and we talked a little on msn and seemed ok, I then told him I wanted him and did he want me and he said would have to see how it worked out between now and the next time we see each other, he said that he was interested cuz wouldnt have bothered kissing me...HELP what's this mean

I really like this guy. We went on a few dates and he told me he hasn't been in anything solid since college. I know that should set something off, but I don't know what to do. I really find him attractive and we get along pretty well. We like similiar stuff and I enjoy his company! What should I do to make him want to just be with me? I felt she didn't need an SUV, plus I thought they were kind of masculine. I told her I would let her get a 2003 Honda Accord EX if she wanted. I like that car a whole lot better. It was my idea to get that car because I like the cool features and the navigation system option. That was the only new car I would let her get so she said okay.

my best guy friend & his gf(who's one of my good friends as well) have been going out for almost 1 year & 2 months.both of them,are very devoted to each other,holding hands,doing silly,corny things(that only love makes you do,& endure,for the guy's part that is,haha) .the wierd part is that he doesn't want to marry.when i asked him why,he says that it's not fun (spending the rest of his life with one person) esp if you can't even go to a bar knowing that your wife & kids are at home.& she's apparently ok with it as far as i know.in abt a year,we'll all be leaving for university & i don't know what would happen to both of them(we're still in college).they won't be meeting again if they go to different universities in different countries.is this just puppy love or does it have something more?would it last or do you think both of them are just trying to kill time while in college?

There was this girl from back in the days, when I was young, and I liked her so much( I was only 13 then!) and now she's out of reach.
She knew this, cuz the whole school was talking about it- ( she even came to meet me after someone fixed us up) but I just
didn't have that courage to tell her.And I was really really shy back then.But now I've had my fair share of girls, and I can't get the girl out of my mind- it's 7 years later!!
Am I crazy, or does that happen? I keep asking myself what would've happened if I told her I had a crush on her!
