I was watching a movie and a woman in it said " a woman can tell when a man is not telling the truth" and my bf said ya right. whats up with that? Does he just want me to think that he can get away with stuff cause I dont think he is that slick

He said that because he doesn't buy into it. He doesn't think women have like, an innate ability to detect lies... I don't buy it either, it's not a big thing... it doesn't mean he's hiding things from you.

He may have lied before (not necessarily with you) and got away with it. I do believe that when a women has been with a man long enough (to know him well) she can tell when he's lying. It's just a feeling you get that something isnt right. To non-believers...You have to tap into your own intuition before you can believe in intuition at all.

PS I wouldnt trip over what he said...make a joke of it...or better yet..leave it alone

hes probally told you a million wee lies in your time together, stupid things, dont fret. if he has done something really bad and thinks he is mister slick he would keep his mouth shut

Sounds like he's saying it from experience. He probably has lied to women and they had no idea.

yea bad move there from him! maybe it slipped. so that could mean thathe does think he's slick. Hmmm! he's no good!
