Question

Would you do this as a freshman in college at 18 years old??

So i have this plan...for over the summer. My friends and i were talking about how much we missed our childhood. And i came up with this idea to play all these kids games over the summer at a local park.

-My plan is to play: Capture the flag - both teams are going to have different colored shirts on right..and instead of tagging people...we would use paint. Fill water balloons and such with paint....and that would show if you got tagged.

-We were also going to play 4-square, parachute, tug of war, a big game of basketball and dodge ball.-

--i haven't really told my friends about this yet....
I'm kind-of embarrassed and feel they might think it's stupid. If you were 18 and a freshman in college would you think this was a stupid idea? Do you think it's a stupid idea? Tell me what you think before i go and tell them....about it

I actually find this amusing....I would have to say capture the flag and dodge ball are some amazing S*it right there....playing it drunk would be fun...something i personally have never experienced. If there is beer...or some form of alcohol it should be a great time for all....if no beer....kind-of "strange."

-though...i don't think you should do the parachute because that game was REALLY STUPID and nobody is going to want to do that and it has no MEANING to it like capture the flag.
Everything else sounds fun though :)

I was a freshman in college about 5 years ago and if someone had planned this I would have definitely played!! Nobody ever gets tired of those games, no matter how old they get. So yeah, I definitely think it's a great idea... get people outta the house, spend some time together and have a great time. Sounds fun =)

I think its a fun idea - on my 18th we had a kids party for me with jelly and ice cream and games and balloons - im 35 now and still think its great fun to do silly games with friends. I like hide and seek the best - dont know what you would call that - I take it you guys are from USA. Take a picnic as well and then later when it gets dark tell ghost stories.

haha some ppl are just too serious. sometime you really do need to just go back to the old days. Ummm...I just turned 19 and I'm in college and I would agree to something and so would most of my friends. I think it depends on your friends. Are they the kind of people who are serious all the time or do they know how to calm down sometimes. But yeah I'd play that. I still go out and play with my younger siblings and it's fun just to get out and do something different.

Yes, I would play! Just the other day in the grocery store I sorta thought the same thing. I always 'eat right.' That can get so boring. So I bought 3 boxes of kids cereal! I will probably never do that agin...but it felt good...and I am enjoying the heck out of my childish cereal. Go for it!

I WOULD PLAY ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE KIDS AT HEARTS AND IF YOUR FRIENDS DONT APPRECIATE DOING THAT THEN THEY SHOULD GO BACK TO THERE BOOKS!!
i truely think it's a good idea!!!! i'd love to do that!!!!!! if they think it's stupid just tell them you were just kidding or convince them like it's going to be fun and it might be the last and only chance you get to do that!! and it really might be!! cuz you only hav three chances to act like a kid!!! once when your a kid,, second time teenish.....third time over 21!!! GO FOR IT MAN!!!!

No, I don't think its a bad idea. Share it with the friends that you think won't make you feel embarrassed about it. I think its a great idea. You probably won't be able to do that after college.

i don't think it's stupid it sounds like fun. People in college are known for doing alot worse. go out and have fun. If your friends tell you it's a stupid idea then just play it off like you were joking but I think they will like it

naw! I'd go for it, but insted of keeping this between your circle of friends, have all of yall join a camp and be counselors, then yall could get all the camp kids to play these games with yall, (and you could make some money doing it too!;)
