At the beginning of December, one of my best guy friends asked me to his dance. The week before the dance, everything was going great and he even told one of my friends that he really liked me. The dance was perfect, everything was amazing, and he kissed me a few times. But the week after, we hardly talked and everytime I asked him to hangout, he would say he was busy. It might be because he lives about 30 min. away ..but it's been about a month now and we STILL haven't hung out. It seems like he's not interested anymore ..so should I even try? I still want him as a best friend but I don't want to come off as trying to get together with him if I ask to hangout because I know that's what he'll think.

I mean, he kissed me and everything and I thought everything was perfect ..so, is it just me or is that just something that guys do...

ok i am 13 and all my friends have gf's and the only thing holding me back is shyness and i dont know how to overcome it and i know its the only thing holding me back because i have looks(myspace.com/gym dalton [ without the spaces] if you want to see a pic and i am athletic and smart(have the highest grades in my class and im in honors in 8th)

And another way that i know that girls like me is because the two girls called me dont even know what they look like were saying how hot i am and saying stuff like that.

I can talk on the phone just fine its just when im not on the phone is what is holding me back.

my friends are always saying how many girls i can have if i just open up and talk its just i cant do that.

can somebody help me?

please?!?!?

I'm in college and used to have a great group of friends -- that was freshman and sophomore year. Now I'm a junior, and two of my best friends transferred to different schools, a few went to study abroad etc. and basically it seems like all the friends I used to have are gone, leaving me alone.

To make matters even worse I moved off campus and don't see people around nearly as much as I used to.

I've tried making new friends but its hard to move past being more than just casual friends. They basically already have their best friends and cliques and while they're pretty nice to me, I feel stupid always being the one to call them and trying to hang out with them.
They will never call me usually...

What should I do? I find myself a lot of Friday nights these days having nobody to really go out with...

Is me trying to be friends with these people making me seem desperate? Ahhh...but what am I supposed to do if nobody ever invites me to do anything with them?

I have a crush on an old friend, we've been flirting alot, but i feel like i just have a puppy crush on him, kind of like a teenage girl would have on a boy. No love interest, no real lust, just a crush. sounds a little childish huh?

What are the best ways for a woman to protect herself physically? Long story short there's a freaky guy in my apartment building who I have caught a few times standing infront of my door in such a way I wondered if he had keys. I saw him today and he asked if he could come use my phone. Of course I said hell no. That is what scared me.

I don;t need long term solutions-like changing locks, gettin a dog and talking to my landlord-I just need something to help me sleep tonight. I am in Canada so no pepper spray or guns. I have heard many 'victims' get assulted with thier own weapons and am not sure if that's true but it's enough to keep me from keeping a knife under the bed. I moved something infront of the front door already but have no peace. Whatever can I do to feel safer tonight aside from the phone under my pillow.

Does forever last an entire lifetime? Or does it simply lasts as long as the moment. When an individual says forever, I am certain that he/she means it, but then again does that bind him/her. Personally I think it lasts only as long as the moment. What's your take?

I use to have a boyfriend that would give me a 'code' so I knew when to bring along money... it was a complete turn-off.

In most relationships that I have had - I always expected the guy to pay for everything and then every once in a while I would pay for dates we had.

In my current relationship we go about half and half on expenses. We live about 300 miles apart so whenever he comes down here I pay for food, entertainment, and whatever else... and when I go out there he pays.

I'm just curious, how many people think that this setup is kosher...

Oh and one more question: Do you think it's odd for someone to get turned off when the subject of money comes up in a conversation?

You sit there in my shadows
And you call it your relief
Don't be the one with bad eyes for
The things that I could see
(Don't give me that)

The darkness has no armor
Need protection from the air
High hopes through time passing
When I see I want you there

I can't believe
You're the one for me
If it was this easy to find you
I should be ready for a fall
I should be ready for a fall

Now my wonders rally
Around the person I once was
Like a bird that I've been helping
Hope you're healed and strong
You never know when you might have to fly

Where will you go after me
Where will you go after I set you free
And I don't know you from a page in my book
Though I should
Though I should

Where will you go after me
Where will you go after I set you free
And I don't know you from a page in my book
Though I should

I'm a single Dad with FULL custody of my 2 year old girl..Her mother is, by choice, far away in another state and I was wondering if 'seeing' her mother on computer video conferencing(IChat) would be disturbing to the baby? Would she think her Mommy lives in the computer? Could it be potentially damaging?

My boyfriend and I are in the same after-work social activities together as is his ex-girlfriend (they broke up this time last year and we've been going out 2 months) whom I have been amicable with, if not friends for the past two years through this club.
Lately she's almost (it's been subtle but increasing) asking me whether I've slept with him, what's going on with our relationship etc (they broke up mutually (although she instigated it) because he wouldn't sleep with her so early into the relationship when she wanted to - they wanted different things) and i don't know what to say. I'm not good enough friends with her that I want to discuss my current relationship with her but she seems to think since she's his ex she is able to ask.
I'm cool with her still being friends with my bf, but these questions... it's all a bit awkward for me and I'm wondering how i can answer her and ward her off. Not sure if she's jealous or what... (i know she is very insecure about herself)
Thanks!

so, my *sweet* 16 is coming up in a few months, but this planning thing is kinda hard, esp if it's my own and I want it to be an unforgettable one..

any ideas? anyone...

I have heaps of close friends to invite and it can't be too expensive.... and all my ideas, like beach party, restaurant dinner... my friends have done it all... and it gets boring after awhile, same kinda party, venue...

I want a great party, dancing, singing... a *~P@rTy~*!!- that will juz blast off...!!

I've thought of going sky-diving, zorbing and all that, (to the Xtreme) but it's juz too expensive to bring all my friends along... doesn't seem possible at this point... at all... (but I luv 2 dream)

maybe a beach house, rent one and we can crash overnite & continue the 24 hr party cuz my b'day is on a friday..

any ideas?? I'd really appreciate it... *puppy dog eyes* << doesn't work, does it??... hehe... what abt.. plzzzzz...??

THANK *YOU*!! (0^,^)
