dude, you're only 13 so you've got a LONNNNNNNG way to go. You haven't even begin to start with that whole "maturing" process. See, if you were like 25 and had this problem, i'd be worried for you. But you're 13 and shy - no biggie :) just be yourself and i know for a fact girls your age love the shy boys :)

Hey, I'm only fourteen (turning 15 in about 2 months) and I've never dated a guy, much less had a boyfriend, but I have quite a few of guy friends. I find that I can actually socialize better with guys. I guess you can probably consider me as a socialble person. The easiest way I get to know people is by being my smart self. And then that's when people actually come up to me and start asking me questions about homework. I am also a helping person because I don't want other people to think that I'm being very selfish with knowledge, and that's how I get to know a lot of new people every year. Whether I want to to pursue them as friends or not I will see to whatever comes to me.

I don't think that anyone would believe this, but when I was younger, I was the most shy girl ever, and I also was the loneliest thanks to being the shiest girl. I learnt how to strike up with conversations and actually start talking to guys once I figured that if I remained too much to myself, I would get absolutely no where with friends.
Be on the lookout for girl that you think have similar interests, or just seem to be a decent to talk to. I recommend that you first become friends with them before deciding on any further relationships. My girl friends, having experience, know that by taking a quick step into a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship will also result into a quick break up. Talk to a specific girl that you think would get along with you pretty well, and try to get to know her.

I'm pretty surprised that you have the guts to have a myspace for a 'shy' guy you claim to be. Talk to girls as if you were talking to your own guy friends. After all, I highly doubt that you are afraid of being eaten by that. In fact, girls and guys are not that all different. I learned in my Honors Biology class that a guy has to be a girl first before being deciding to be a male and that is a fact technically so we are all related aren't we? haha lol.

Well, all I have to say is Good Luck, be yourself, and trust your instincts. AND DON'T DO ANY THING STUPID!!!

first of all, quit trying to grow up so fast. it's not about how many girls you can get. that line of thinking is childish, chauvenistic, and shows just how immature your friends are. relationships are about love, honesty, trust, and an emotional connection with someone. anything else usually results in a fast breakup.
i'm a soldier. i can charge enemy fire without thinking, attack on command, destroy anything on command...but i have the same problem as you do...and i'm 35. the right person is out there for you and she'll be by your side one day...so don't rush things. too many people get into too many bad marriages because they wanted Mrs. Right Now instead of Mrs. Right. look at all the hollywood breakups...need i say more?

Dude.. enjoy your life. Really. If you're enjoying your life, and having fun, girls will want to be with you. You really don't "Need" girls. You may want 'em, but you don't 'need' 'em. And you're only 13... so you've got a long way to go and learn some lessons of love. Don't worry, kid. Relax.. girls are nothing special - they're as nervous as you are, and if you are relaxed, there's no problem. 2 things: relax, and have fun. And if you can do that, girls will not matter, and when girls don't matter to you, they will be attracted to you. That's the psychology. Don't be needy.
