We dated for 3 months before we moved in togther (rather accidentally - a water pipe broke in my apartment, and I needed a temporary place to stay; I never left). After that, another year had passed before we firmly decided on marriage, and 4 months after that we were married (last September).

My husband and I were aquaintances for a couple years. (We saw each other two or three times a year at conferences. We normally wouldn't say more than "hello" and "how are ya?".) He finally asked me out in April of '94. Less than a week after our first date, he asked me to marry him. We were married 7 months later.

we were together only 6 months before he popped the question. it took us another 4 and a half years to actually get married!!! been together ever since. 10yrs and 3 babies later...
