Its always best to have your feelings be known whatever the situation may be and regardless who it may hurt. Just be yourself, and let your feelings be known. If the way you feel hurts someone I'm sure they will understand, and if they get angry with you and do or say bad things, then they were never your friend. Because a real friend will understand everything.

Remember, it is not always WHAT you say but HOW (and sometimes WHERE) you say it.

Is it coming from a place of love?

Have you considered how the person will react?

Are you just saying it because 'you know you are right' or are you saying it because you can?? Will it truly help the person?

If you know it will hurt their feelings, perhaps you should rethink confronting this person or better yet, let them know how this action makes YOU feel or EFFECTS you. Don't blame or accuse.

Hi
According 2 my point of view, i thnk that u must never let a person in the dark n if 1 time a u hide somthing from a person n he knows abt it later, the person wil never trust u again. Although the truth is bitter but the person will know that u hav not hide the matter. U must be a person that people respect n trust u so that they will trust u.

It's according to how close you are too them and whether the matter is any of your business. If if directly concerns you and your friendship can handle it then yes. If they ask and you feel they need to know; then you probably suspect what their reaction will be; so why are you asking me? If you know it will hurt them then will they get over it? Will your relationship survive it?

You should always tell people how you feel no matter If It hurts their feelings or not. This Is not a sugar coated world. If I had something to say to my friends that would help them to wake up and realize reality I would say It. Nobody Is promised tomorrow, If something (god forbid) happen to this person would you rather spend the rest of your life thinking about how you should've said something to them.

well YES you have to tell your feelings about certain action even if you know that he/she will get hurt but let me tell that lying hurts more, and keeping your feelings to your self won't do you any good, you might get hurt in the future or they might do something that hurts you thinking you are OK with it. so you got to tell what you feel!

It depends on whether or not you have his/her best interest in mind. If you are talking about telling the person that you think they have a drinking problem, you should probably do it.

If this person cares about you and it's making you uncomfortable then you should tell them. I'm sure they'd rather know where you stand than guess why you're acting so weird.
