I get to know a guy via text ,msn and phone etc. Then when we meet we we have a laugh etc, but then they ease off dnt text me etc its hurting me and leaving me empty. They say they had a great time with me etc but why they leaving me alone if so!?

me and the guy i've been seeing has told me that he wants some time to himself, we get along great and do have a good friendship also. he has sadi that he loves me and cares for me and i have told him that i am in love with him. he has told me also that it would be easier to date me if i had my own place then he acts real loving and kind but there are othertimes when he is cold and distant. why is he acting this way to me? we have known each other for five years now.

I don't know what to think right now.. I am a father of 2 young boys. I met someone by email so far.. she is russian, honestly at that level, my *dream* ethnicity, I just love russian looks and style.

But she lives in the Chicago area and I live in New York area. We got past some initial chemistry hurdles with pictures exchanged etc.

She also mentioned she is not moving, and well with 2 little ones, I am not either.

What are the options from here?

Not every day you meet a cute russian lady.

no body in our family is approving that girl since she is less Education from him and poorer and she came from not so good family but they have been in a realationship together for five years

Met this guy online. Never seen him b/f. been talking to him for 7 months. Back in Nov. we made plans to meet but he got a really bad cold. We planed to meet for new years. Ok he told me his grandmother passed two weeks ago and a few days after he told me his uncle has cancer and only had 6 mos. and a few days ago he told me a friend of his passed and he’s feeling to down to come....guys I don’t know, im finding it hard to believe. How could so much happen every time we try to get together? Don’t get me wrong, we have a VERY strong connection on the phone and emails...ect...I like this guy and I know he likes me I just don’t know what to think about this...what do you guys think?

When i ask this, i don't mean a shy guy with no confidence. I mean someone who is confident in themselves but doesn't necessarily show it off by the things he does. In the past i had this girl i became friends with and over time i wanted to become more than friends. She also was very friendly to me and would sometimes give me signs that she thought more of me than just friendship. However this other guy who wasnt really in your face cocky but confident and talkative managed to get her as his girlfriend and i was devastated. I have since lost contact with this girl which i am sad about. I think this is due to her spending so much time with her boyfriend. I feel being a shy, gentleman type got me nowhere as she is with this other guy and i can't help think is it due to not being attractive due to my shyness? I can't help the way i am. I am as i said confident however and when i am comfy around people, open up alot but i just wanted to ask a girls opinion really. Many thanks, Dave, UK

I was using the microwave to heat up some cookies and my mom sprayed the microwave with poisoness spray to clean it and the microwave rang when they were done. I came out to pick up my cookies and my mom said you can't eat them, their poisoness. I was like why did you spray the microwave while my cookies were in there? and I threw the cookies out and got new ones and a new plate, I was like can you wipe it down so I can use the microwave? she was like no. and she sat on the couch and ate ice cream. Meanwhile, I'm trying to watch the Real world and she tells me, Oh I'll do it at the next commercial. I think that's a little bit selfish when all I wanted was 3 warm cookies and to watch the Real World before I have to go to work. Then she claims, she sprayed the microwave BEFORE I even put my cookies in there. Wtf ? Why do moms do the stupid things they do? It's not even about some damn cookies, it's about why PARENTS, not just moms or dads do the things they do?
